If you're like me, you didn't get any Star Wars books because you already own them all. Here's what books I did get:

Band of Brothers by Stephen E. Ambrose

    Over Time by Mario Lemieux

Napalm and Silly Putty by George Carlin (I actually got that one yesterday and stayed up rather late reading it. Funny stuff!)

The United States Military Avaiation Directory by Tom Kaminski and Mel Williams

    Ghost Soliders by Hampton Sides

Love Carlin, wish I had one of his books, or one of the audio books of his books (hey, I don't care what you think about audio books, those two any Carlin fan would love since he's the one doing the reading).

Aside from instructional guides (one to SimCity 3000 Unlimited, one to a Playstation game, and the other to a new Star Wars CCG I had no idea exsisted, the Jedi Knights game) I got three books for Christmas. At least so far. Since I've got a sibling in the military overseas who could not be home for Christmas, and plans to celebrate again when they get home so that they didn't mail presents home, I may yet get some more. But for now I have three, SbS (Hey, hardcovers I usually only get as gifts, only two have I purchased for myself and I had to use lay-a-way to get them. Plus around Christmas timeI try not to get any new Star Wars books so that I could get them for either Christmas or my birthday.), a cooking sampler on making cheese, butter, and yogurt, and Abandon Ship!, a documentary on the sinking of the USS Inpianapolis at the end of WWII.
