    I would take some credit for TLAPDay too, but it seems kind of unpopular... :)

    I like the JC's birthday idea too. :) And come on, what's wrong with GL's birthday? If it falls in one of those holiday-free spaces of the year, it's not a bad idea. :)

    I think we should just stick to general celebrations/ fun stuff.
    people don't set off fireworks and drink till they pass out for Earth Day.

    now Mardi Gras (Carnivale) on the other hand, I think the whole world could relate to.

    Superbowl Sunday
    Mardi Gras
    Cinco de Mayo
    Star Wars Birthday
    Oktoberfest
    are my suggestiones
