A heterogenic planet would confuse the average viewer? Unless the average viewer has never ever seen a picture of planet earth, I very much doubt it.

 

An actual high-g or low-g world.

Every planet ever seen in SW to date has 1 Corsucant Standard, or as close as makes no obviously visible difference in the way people move.

Also, going off ET's statements, the GFFA could actually be Andromeda. Which while still FFA by all human standards, is actually next door on the scale of the universe. Needless to say I'm sure no actual galaxy known to modern astronomy will ever be picked out and directly, unambiguously declared to "be" the one in which SW takes place... it would take away from the mystery a little. Better not to "know" that detail. But certain circumstantial hints can be dropped indicating that it could be one or the other.

IIRC in one of the other EU works the big bang is described from the POV of a SW character as having occured 13.5 billion years prior. If that were taken to be a canon observation of the age of the universe as determined by GFFA scientists, then it would give us a figure for just how long ago "a long time ago" was. In this case, about 200 million years. (Real life scientists currently put the BB at 13.7 billion years ago). Longer than you thought, eh? When Luke Skywalker was facing his father on Cloud City, meanwhile on Earth, the supercontinent Pangea was just starting to break up and the first of the dinosaurs were roaming.

I forget the exact work that gave that figure though. It could be one on the very borderline of canon, so take it with a pinch of salt. Don't expect these things to ever be set in stone by higher-end movie-level canon. Keeping them as unknowns betters the story.

 

I want to see a planet with a shipyard.

 

Kuat and Dac would be good options.

Kuat more so in the Rebels era - since the Mon Calamari may not yet have joined the rebellion.

 

Only if they get the scale right. I don't want the entire planet of Kuat made to look about the size of Los Angeles.

 

I'd like to see it acknowledged that KDY isn't just the orbital shipyard - there's a ring of stations surrounding the entire system.

 

Or Corellia or Duro. True that. Scale does need to make sense.

 

TCW did a planetary ring station in S6 and then depicted a Venator class star destroyer behind the ring in such a way that makes the planet tiny. Asteroid sized. Look here:



It must actually be a synthetic planetoid with artificial gravity generators enabling it to hold that atmosphere.

we need more space station environments with long bridges and giant windows. entire cities in space with open-windowed views of the planet and ships.

An enormous O'Neill Cylinder or Stanford Torus type space colony.

 

I would like a planet that is more foresty we only have a few of those.

 

Kashyyyk, the Forest Moon, and bits of Naboo (swampy forest, but still forest).

Maybe something we've seen less of?

I hope to see some Separatist planets. It would be cool and interesting to see how the rise of the Empire has affected planets like Raxus, Cato Neimoidia, Felucia and many others.
Maybe have a cameo or a dozen of TCW characters that were connected to the CIS in one way or another.

A nice scenario could be the heroes of "Rebels" meeting somebody like Lott Dod, Gume Saam or Voe Atell on the run from the Empire (the Separatists Lucas and Filoni preferred to give appearances).

 

i also like the planets from the starfighter series... lok, nod kartha, maramere.
some others from games... rhen var, raxus prime-the junk planet, and thule.

 

I would like to see Morriban or Korriban.

Be glad GL is gone. Otherwise by the time Dantooine finally makes it onscreen it would be renamed something else in case people mixed it up with Tatooine.
