I would choose Jango and Boba Fett. If Lucas had any wit at all (not mean't seriously, just pointing to irony), he would have cast Franco Nero as the elder Mandalorian and had Boba more advanced in age (actor?) and not a clone. Jango would represent the last of the dying breed of warriors for profit. And the best bounty hunter the galaxy had once known during his prime. But now, the days and years have not been as kind at all, in retaliation he vehemently transformed his son into an instrument of destruction and it is Boba that now dons his father's battle armor. Jango wears an entirely different (odd even) pieces of armor and utilizes a simplier and miniscule array of weaponry. He acts as Boba's shadow and nothing more, and even keeps more a public personality too than his son but nothing notorious just recognized as a quiet old man. Boba is basically kept under wraps and protected by his father. How the pair come to indifferences with the Old Republic and the Jedi in particular is something I haven't worked out yet. But eventually the elder Mandalorian clashes with Obi-Wan alone without Boba's presence. Always dangerous Jango pulls out some very, very nasty tricks on Obi-Wan, leading to quite a mortally dangerous skirmish. But Jango has lost too much over the last several years due to his advanced age and compromised health. Overwhelmed he perishes by Obi's saber and ability in the Force. Leaving Boba (whom basically achieved maturation by this time) to seek vengeance either in Episode II or by reappearance in Episode III.

Love to hear your opinion on this and your own ideas. :)
