Did Sarco Plank deliver Luke's map to Lor San Tekka?
Is Sarco Plank one of the last Jedi? (I see someone with what appears to be a red cape in the spy photos on the grassy hillside. Oh, and speaking of those photos..... the mushroom figure in those photos..... I don't think it's Constable Zuvio or someone wearing an umbrella hat..... maybe it's a Battle Puffin stand-in.)

Who is Rey's family? what's her story?
Will the first Jedi temple be important to the plot?

How did Maz find Luke's old lightsaber?

 

I definitely want to learn what caused Ben Solo's fall. And just because I can appreciate cruel irony and corporate trolling, I almost hope we don't learn who Rey's parents are (though we better learn who they're not).

I want to know where the heck the baby pigeons are. Never seen one.

 

I'd like some questions answered. But the rest left over for IX.

 

-Who left Rey on Jakku and why, and are they her biological parents? If not, who are?
-Where does Snoke come from? How much did Han and Leia (and Luke) know about him?
-How did the blue Skywalker lightsaber end up in the hands of Maz Kanata?
-What is Chewy going to do?
-What is Maz Kanata going to do?
-How did Lor San Tekka acquire part of the map to Luke?
-What is the goal of the Knights of Ren, and what have they been up to?
-Why does Snoke appear to be so scared of Luke Skywalker?

 

That's the biggest mystery of all, to me. And Leia referring to him as if he was some creepy neighbor next door makes it even more of a head-scratcher.

 

That feels like a throwaway line from Kasdan and JJ, without much detail behind it.

That's what I'm wondering: Was Snoke more of a creepy neighbor type or was he a trusted family friend? Looks alone would seem to rule out that he was a trusted family friend. Dude looks super sketchy.

So then if he's the creepy neighbor type how would he sway Ben Solo to his side? He must have been offering Ben something powerful in order for Ben to look past Snoke's obvious sketchiness. If so what did Snoke offer Ben? Power? Information? Comfort at a time when Ben was feeling vulnerable?

Here's a half thought out theory: Ben feels responsible for Rey disappearing or "dying". That or he feels like others blame him for Rey's disappearance. Then Ben meets Snoke. Snoke tells Ben, "I know what it feels like to be looked at with suspicion. People look at me and assume I'm a monster. They only see what's on the outside. They see what they want to see. They don't see things for how they really are."

This makes Ben feel like Snoke understands him and the two form a friendship.

A suburb of Stockholm called Rinke-dinke (or something like that) was landscaped by some happy inhabitants. Constable Zuvio was not there.

If they only eliminate the worst parentage rumors (daddy Luke), I think I would be fine. I think what caused Ben to turn to the dark side wasn't anything that happened while he trained with Luke, but something that happened much earlier, that caused Han to walk out and return to smuggling. Otherwise Ben wouldn't have been so impacted by his father not being around if he was off training with Uncle Luke. Something else triggered a Solo family break up.

 

Because the way I understand it, Leia, and Han weren't together, which is why Ben feels resentment toward Han. Luke was off training new Jedi. Something happens I suspect while it's just Ben and Leia, and Snoke played some roll in what broke up the Solo family, but was close enough to console Ben when Dad is off smuggling, and Mom is playing politics. Once she discovers Snoke's involvement she sends Ben to train with Luke, and have him be a roll model Han wasn't being..
