How did Maz get the lightsaber

How is Maz connected to the Force

How did Kylo get the helmet

Some of these can be answered in IX as well.

 

The question I'd like to know is: Why does it seem Kylo is the only member of The Knights of Ren with a lightsaber?

Oh that's so lame. C3PO, Chopper, K2SO have some interesting origin stories but the most famous SW droid was made in some random factory without anything special?, I REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT!

 

R2 is the observer of the entire saga, the one who's been around to tell the story. His memory wasn't wiped at the end of ROTS, so he's the only character in ANH who knows the full story. Ok, maybe not about Vader's identity...

 

I like GB and am sure it will mostly go unnoticed BUT this gives me bad memories about when GL was going to insert NSYNC as Jedi into the arena battle at the end of AOTC because his daughter liked them ugh!

 

I have no flipping idea who Gary Barlow is.

And why is Anakin's old saber and Ren's improvised, jury rigged weapon seemingly the only sabers in existence? Given that Luke had started a Jedi academy?

 

Reading my question now I realize I didn't state it correctly. I was referring to his robotic hand, not the hand he lost. In ESB and ROTJ that hand has flesh. In TFA, it's just a straight up mechanical hand. Of course it's not crucial to the story, just something I'm curious about.

 

Excellent question. And it's not 100% clear, but didn't Rey destroy Kylo's saber when she slashed him at the end? Where is he going to get another one? I could be wrong, but didn't he make his saber with a cracked kiber crystal out of necessity, not choice? So where is he going to find a kiber crystal now?

I was going to say, "where did Snoke come from" but that isnt really important

I really really do not care who Rey's parents are, at all, in the least. (and the troll in me hopes they they wouldn't answer it, but I know they will)

The only thing this movie needs to do for me is to show me Luke/Rey fighting against Snoke/Kylo. And Poe and Finn fighting the FO.

 

I just double checked to make sure and she either hits the saber or his hand. It's maybe about a 5 second shot (give or take a few) but to me it still like like the sabers been slashed. I took a screenshot the best I could to show this. See if you agree or not:

Well, I really don't want to nitpick, so I won't. I'll take your word for it and I mean that sincerely. Plus I'd rather Kylo have the same Saber he had in TFA than a new one.
