What rumors of I and II did you hear?

I heard rumors of clones off Darth Maul, that's all I can really remember. I was not very spoiled

 

When I was an AOTC spoiler junky, I remember constantly reading that Nute Gunray died in the Arena battle when Jango Fett misfires his flamethrower(He was aiming for Mace Windu).

 

What is weird is I never thought of coming online and check things out at sw.com, I started this summer in july

I remember very soon after it was revealed that there will be clones/the clone wars that someone I know said that they read in an artical that they clones would be of Darth Maul.

 

I heard that Jango had a wife, Boba's mother. Her name was Ambu Fett.

 

except for star wars insider pix i didn't know jack about them ,this was all pre internet for me anyways

 

Maul coming back, of course... but that was stomped on pretty quickly. New types of lightsaber-type weapons, also stomped on pretty quickly.

And you can't forget the Leo = Anakin rumor...

 

^ Oh yeah. That was a biggie. I'm kind of glad that he wasn't cast, though. I think Hayden fits the character pretty well. And allthough he isn't a great actor, he's definately much better then Portman.

Yup, I remember Ambu Fett. I thought Ambu was a man, though, and just a commander. Sort of like Commander Cody in III.

I remember hearing the Charleton "Moses" Heaston was being cast for the part of Yoda in TPM.

 

I remember hearing that Darth Maul would come back, with robotic spider-legs that he could jump very high with and stick to ceilings and stuff...

I wasn't spoiled for 1 and 2.

I knew about Jango. That's it.

 

That Dooku's blade was curved, like a scimitar.

 

i remember back in 1997 reading on my web tv that the ATOC would have the brith of Leia and Luke.

i also read that Boba was a teen in the frist one and that he was the one that was cloned for the clone army.

in ep 3 there was gonna be a young Han Solo.

the clone wars were the jedis facing copys of them selfs.

and many other werid rumors

 

I had virtually no idea that The Phantom Menace was even being made. Heck, I didn't get any word on it untill I saw the trailer on TV. I was heavily involved in the 2SA, so I heard virtually everything that passed through about Attack of the Clones, though.
