What scenes do you find yourself skipping to on the DVD?

Newbie here with a question: what scenes do you most often find yourself skipping to on the Episode 3 DVD? I myself have seen the film at least fifteen times and I will occasionally go back often to see a few key scenes, skipping over much of the rest. Here's the list:

Opening text scroll followed by the booming of war drums and Anakin and Obi-Wan soaring to their destiny to the Force Theme. (just so epic)

Anakin and Obi-Wan vs. Dooku

Obi-Wan dueling Grievous

Sidious against Mace(mostly to see him dart through the air and hear that vicious noise he makes: priceless. Also good to note is when the window breaks, followed by Mace's eventual electrocution by dark side lightning and his end)

Anakin's slaughtering of the Separatists and Palpy's declaration of the Empire(just..dark)

And of course the Mustafar duel/Senate duel (just so emotional, also "Battle of the Heroes" mixed with "Duel of the Fates".

then birth and rebirth
then i watch whatever

 

order 66 and anakin and obi-wan fight.

 

I watch over and over again these scenes

1) Duel with Dukoo
2) Duel with Greivous
3) Duel between Windu and Palps, continuing to the march on the temple, Order 66.
4) Palpatine declaring the Empire/slaughter of the Separatists
5) The duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan and Yoda and Sidious, sometimes watching the conversation between Anakin and Padme beforehand.
6)"Where is Padme? Is she safe.. is she alright..." - Padme's funeral.

the dream sequence one *sigh*

 

i skip to anything that is after anakin and padme dialogue

 

Palpatine zapping Mace (POWER!), and Palpatine vs Yoda

 

The dark scenes(such as Palpatine frying Mace) are what really attracts me, seeing this all in a Star Wars film and thinking back to The Phantom Menace.. its just eerie.

 

The 4 Jedi Masters (O.K. 3 frozen Turkeys and 1 Jedi master - LOL) attempt to arrest Palpatine.

That scene rocks.

Sidious's dark personality is finally revealed.

"I AM the senate"

Then after they are dead he says in a dark spectral voice "Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy and we shall have.....Peeeeeace"

Totally awesome.

 

Yeah the other three Masters just stood there. I noted that either one of them could have easily struck a lethal blow to Palpatine at any time, yet they stood frozen in place with their blades in one position. It is quite comical.

 

i dont skip to any specific scene.all i do is fast forward the intro but then when the movie starts i dont skip to anything

 

I skip around the living room when I hear the 20th Century Fox Fanfare begin!!!
No seriously, I skip nothing!
Maybe 5 years and 700 viewings later, but until then... no.
I rarely skip anything while watching the OT!

 

same than JMN77 for me it'll take years for me to skip an scene of Rots

 

I usually skip to the Mustafar Duel.

i agree with JMN77 and sithrules70. i watch the whole thing.

 

well i'm a musician and before i do a show i'll skip to the scene when Padme arrives on Mustafar and watch it from that point on. beleive it or not it gets me pumped. then i can relax and perform. if i'm not doing a show i'll watch the whole thing, with the lights off.

 

I love the scene with no dialogue where Anakin is just standing on the Mustafar balcony staring at that hellish landscape and it shows the aftermath of his destruction along with that great music.

 

The Clonebikers taking out Stass Allie

 

I keep going to the Temple assault scene, the ruminations scene, the turn scene and the duel on Mustafar. Oh and the silly, drooling fangirl in me keeps going to the shirtless Ani scene...

 

I skip any seen with Padme. She is just an aweful character and Portman managed to do an even worse job of acting in Sith than in Clones (I didn't think it possible).

Padme/Portman--the worst thing to happen to Star Wars, ever. Otherwise, I love Sith!

then the arrest seen
then the pruge
and im forced to watch the anakin/obi duel. i dont like it and i only watch it cuz its between the yoda/sids duel
