I'm listening to The Goblin Returns from Spider-Man 2. Ah! No, there it changed to At Long Last, Love from Spider-Man 2. Elfman is the best! And so is john Williams, Hans Zimmer, Don Davis, Howard Shore, Klaus Badelt +++ many more! But still, Elfman is my idol!

Ooooo, that's one of my favorites. Ranked right up there with Don Giovanni. I'd really like to see these performed, but I don't see that happening in the near future.

And if you ever get a chance, do try to go see Die Zauberflöte. It's WONDERFUL (as long as your Queen of the Night is good). ;)

My Christmas present to myself (I opened it early), "Rocky II".

I just love its take on the original themes -- on hand hand more swinging funky, and on the other hand, more pseudo-epic.

    Rick McCallum loves you!

Mark Isham's score to Life as a House. A nice score to put on when reading.... or studying for finals.

I DID actually crank out a score earlier today on my MP3 player, which was "Rambo: First Blood Part 2" by Jerry Goldsmith. Kind of repetitive, but HIGHLY "macho", in terms of purely orchestral music.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock by James Horner.

I love how he expands on his work from Star Trek II. The Klingons and Stealing the Enterprise are just excellent cues.

I love how he uses the music from 'Kirk's Explosive Reply' near the ends of that cue.

Javier Navarrete's score to Pan's Labyrinth.

I cannot recommend this soundtrack highly enough. Anyone who is a fan of great music (I'm assuming that would be everyone here), needs to pick this gem up. You won't be dissapointed.
