What scores are you hoping to get this Holiday Season?

Although I know I won't get all of these, this is what tops my list this year.

Apocalypto - James Horner (I'm really hoping he is injected with some real creative juices for this one, I'm not holding out a lot of hope though)
Big Wednesday - Basil Poledouris

Eragon - Patrick Doyle
Happy Feet (Score Album) - John Powell
Pan's Labyrinth - Javier Navarrete
The Queen - Alexandre Desplat
Towering Inferno - John Williams (I've wanted this one for a looong time)
Wah-Wah - Patrick Doyle

So, what are you guys hoping for?

 

Casino Royale. Various musicals.

 

Apocalypto, Charlotte's Web, Enemy at the Gates, Tora! Tora! Tora!, and some more Goldsmith.

 

The Departed (Shore), has already been ordered.

Beyond that, I'd like to get the Bernstein Box from FSM, but more likely I'll just pick up Birdman From Alcatraz (Bernstein)...

Eragon might be interesting. And what I've heard of Wah-Wah is good.

Other than that, it depends on if anything catches my interest, either in the cinema or some of the new releases.

Oh...and I've been meaning to get Fiddler On The Roof for a while now.

I bought myself "Rocky II", and I have "Les Mis" (original cast) on my Amazon Wish List (someone go buy it for me plz )...

I had the cassette tapes loooong ago but it is time to get it for my modern life.

Other than that I'm actually set on scores, until the powers that be pull their heads out and do 2-disc AOTC and ROTS score releases. I won't buy the one-discers, out of spite.

I'm hoping that some of my friends will pick up on the hints I've been throwing around about the newly released Runaway: Deluxe Edition by Jerry Goldsmith that I saw on the Varese Sarabande website. It's sold out now but I've seen it on Ebay for decent prices.

Probably one of my main gift ideas will be the upcoming... or it may well already be out... "Rocky" compilation CD for "Rocky Balboa".

There will be a new score composed once again by Bill Conti.

 

We're just not sure how much, if any, will be released.

 

at least Bill Conti is back, he was sorely missing from Rocky IV.
