You should. I've seen both and I'm not that big of a baseball fan. Please tell me that, at the very least, you've seen The Natural.

 

Pretty sure there was a police academy reboot in the works. Not sure if it got caught in development hell.

Elliott (Christian Bale) has become a black ops operative since the ET Incident, using his nascent psychic powers to lead a team of similarly empowered soldiers in secret missions around the world. During his latest mission in Middle East, tragedy strikes when a team of Al Qaeda insurgents with similar powers ambush and kill all of Elliott's team, leaving him for dead. Alone behind enemy lines, last survivor of a mission that officially never happened, Elliott decides that the only way out is through. During his fight towards the heart of the Al Qaeda fortress, Elliott finds his TK powers getting stronger and stronger, and he soon finds why: the terrorists have his old friend E.T. (Peter Dinklage) prisoner and they're using him to create the super-terrorists that killed his friends. Elliott frees his friend and both of them avenge Elliott's friends (E.T. shows the logical progression of his abilities with plants, animating vines to strangle terrorists and doing other kickass stuff). That's when they finally face Osama Muhammad (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the Post-Human Branch of Al Qaeda. But Muhammad has a secret weapon, a last super-terrorist: a cyborged Gertie (Drew Barrymore), Elliott's estranged sister.

The final duel, next summer, in 3T: The Last Chapter.

 

And their teachers at the academy are the guys from Bad Boys, Axel from Beverly Hills Cop, Butters from Lethal Weapon 4 and Carter from Rush Hour. Danny Glover finally retired, he really became too old for that ****. The Joe Pesci character from Lethal Weapon 2 has a cameo.

I'm surprised there never was sequels to Animal House, but considering what they did have planned for sequels, maybe we dodged a bullet there, especially with the script that was written after John Belushi's death.

Season Six of Chuck which is my favorite TV series of all time. I just have not been able to feel the void. Hopefully Agents of Shield will fill it.
