What should we name the forum?

OK, it looks like we are going to allow discussion of all film music in this forum again! Yay!

Please help me with your suggestions for the forum name, as well as any other suggestions you may have.

(I'm particularly wondering if any of you would like some of the locked threads opened.)

 

"Star Wars and Film Music."

I never liked "Film Music Hall" anyways.

"Star Wars Music" is good too.

 

A rose by any other name smells just as sweet. I liked the old name, but not enough to vote on it. As long as the changes are made to what we can discuss, I don't care what it's called, hence I abstain

 

I voted Star Wars and Film Music. Of course, this might be I'll have to tweak the banner. I might even talk to Ken about redoing it a bit as I have never been happy with it.

 

SWM and TFMH are nicer abbr.s than SWnFM, but Star Wars & Film Music is a better name for the forum, I think. It shows that it's still a Star Wars forum (one complaint of Nov.) and also that Film Music discussion is allowed.
"Star Wars Music" reminds me too much of bad times

and I don't dare proposing something else.

and just for the record, I liked "The Film Music Hall" back then.

 

SWFM or SW/FM would work as well.

I guess I'll vote for it too, since I thought of it.

I voted with the majority because it will fit the best even though I've always thought "Film Music Hall" was a nifty(wow that was different) name.

 

I voted for 'The Film Music Hall', but I guess I'm biased, since I came up with that name. 'Star Wars and Film Music' is not a bad idea at all, though.

But really, what's in a name? The important thing is that the forum is back to its old self again. I look forward to posting a lot more here, now that the restrictions have been lifted.

Here is my two cents on the subject. I feel that the name Star Wars and Film Music, while perfectly functional, is just too clunky to be an appropriate name. I'd rather just keep the title Star Wars Music, or have a longer title with a little more pizzazz.
