I think there will be a lot of anticipation from fans to see certain moments that made us all love Star Wars in the first place.

    For example:
Han and Chewie piloting the Falcon in a dog fight.
Someone saying "I've got a bad feeling about this."

    Just to name a couple.

However for me...I think the single biggest moment I'm looking forward to is (IF it happens) when Luke ignites his lightsaber for the first time before a fight. I think the audience is gong to go absolutely nuts at that point.

What do you guys think? Are there any other individual moments like this that you are eagerly anticipating?

I'm interested to see how they are going to introduce the old characters, if they return, to see what they would be up to all these years later. A lightsaber battle with a now master force user like Luke, would be a highlight.

Luke Skywalker igniting that trusty old green lightsaber for the first time. That and seeing Luke duel with all of his lightsaber and Force abilities finely honed.

The first appearance of the Falcon, first appearance of Luke, Han's death, and the first dogfight and the first lightsaber duel. Also looking forward to meeting the new central characters that we are going to meet for the first time (presumably Luke, Han, and Leia's kids and any of the friends they make along the way).

I would assume most of those things are going to be Episode VII stuff. However, looking even further ahead, I am just flat out looking very much forward to Episode IX to see how it all ends. Exciting stuff.

I think it'll also be great to see Luke use the force in battle. He never really utilized the force during his fights in the OT. So it would be great to see him push, throw or fling several bad guys with the force! (Reminding us who the master is now.)

To echo others posters, when/if Jedi Master Luke Skywalker ignites his lightsaber and engages in an all out battle utilizing the force like a boss, I think I could die a happy man.

Hopefully walking out of the theatre thinking "I want to see that again!!" as opposed to "How can I convince myself this was a worthwhile experience?"

Not a definite, but I would kinda sorta maybe really want to see Luke in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

I'm anticipating walking into the threatre without a clue as to what is going to happen...as long as I can avoid the big-time spoilers.

Being 30 yrs old, I did not get to experience the original trilogy in the theatre, and we all pretty much knew how the prequels were gonna go storywise heading in....

I doubt John Williams will be back, unless he's up for it.

The moment when the police detective sighs regretfully, takes a sip of his coffee, and spins in his chair to face to the holo-board behind him. The camera then cuts to a cripple who is staggering out of the station as he slips on a golden chronometer. The detective gasps and drops his drink. As it falls in slow motions, we hear key lines from the cripple's interview replayed, while the camera darts from point to point on the holo-board. Outside, the cripple's gait grows less impaired and his posture more erect. Fingers on a warped hand straighten out. The cup of Celadonian caf shatters into a thousand pieces, but allows us to make out just one word on the bottom: Kobayashi. A black, expensive looking speeder pulls up next to cripple, who now slides adroitly inside. Just as it pulls away, the detective runs out into the street, spinning and yelling helplessly in the masses of Coruscant.

A voice over, "The greatest trick the Sith ever pulled was making us think they don't exist."

    Screen fades to black.

A few seconds of a scene earlier in the movie, from the interrogation/interview pops up. The cripple is on a couch. "And like that," he says, gesturing with his normal hand, "he's gone."

    Roll credits.
