Speculation What single moment are you anticipating the most?

Star Wars Episode VII: Star Trekkin across the universe...

 

I can honestly say I have absolutely no expectations for this movie. As far as I am concerned, the Skywalker saga is nicely closed, so nothing that needs to be done there.

This movie is a tabla rasa for me.

 

It seems to be a common theme in here, but what Iwant to see is...


Luke in formal Jedi Master attire, using his advanced force powers, and dueling the villain in a more advanced fight than he was ever in during the OT. Perhaps even Leia in Jedi garb as well.

 

That is most likely the main problem.

 

Well...maybe Han and Chewie have rebuild it. It would be interesting if it was a newer, more modified version. I can't imagine them flying another vehicle.

LOL. I just keep hearing Stewie Griffin's voice saying "What?" in a surprised, valley-girl accent.

 

Yeah...I've realized that I enjoy a movie better when I go in with no expectations.

 

It would be interesting to see Leia donning Jedi garb.

I saw all 3 of the OT at the cinema. When the SE versions came out I went on opening night and as soon as the Fox fanfare started up the whole cinema erupted. That sent a chill down my spine. Any buzz like that when the new ones come out is good for me.

 

I really can't wait until Luke (hopefully) ignites his lightsaber for the first time. The scene from Return of the Jedi when he catches his saber and ignites it has always been my favorite moment of all 6 movies. Also seeing the opening crawl and hearing the music

 

But what makes you think they'll still be freighter-flying pirates? You'd think that 30 years after helping bring down the Empire Captain Solo would be Admiral Solo, the wise old captain of some Republic star destroyer. I'd like to see how the characters have developed over the missing time instead of them reprising their same old selves.

 

First lightsaber snap-hiss.

I think that Arndt will have the appearnce of the Falcon be one of those "applause" moments, as will the first appearnc of each of the BIG 3. I think they won't just show up walking in or sitting at a table drinking espresso **cough** Obi-Wan in Ep1 **cough**

 

Luke telling those young whippersnappers to get off his lawn.

 

Honestly? Luke on Coruscant. Couldn't even tell you why, but I want to see that more than anything.

 

The moment you realize you have to wait another 3 years for Episode 8.

The moment where 1138 shows up on Luke's speeder bike license plate.

 

And she gets her a lightsaber, at last!!!! A True Jedi Lady!!
