Please keep in mind that whatever slogan is chosen, it will be the T-Shirt slogan for the new T-Shirts that will be available in April. It WILL NOT neccessarily be the official slogan of Chicago Force. Just remember, that you'll most likely be wearing this slogan on your back in a few weeks....so vote wisely.

Also, if you're so inspired please list other possible T-Shirt slogans here.

After reading the above. I thought a nice alternative would be:

CHICAGO FORCE: We'll See You In Hell!!

    Just kidding.

They are all good. My choice will be something that people can relly on. So I'm going with "Big Shoulders, Big Fans, Big Force"

Another good one (that I didn't have room for) from Brian Allemana (the guy who came up with the slogan for the last batch of shirts):

CHICAGO FORCE: The True Power Of Fandom.

Would you explain the shoulders one. Either I'm really slow this morning or it's a Chicago thing.

*yes, I know it's afternoon, but I just got up

Chicago is traditionally known as the City of Big Shoulders. That's one of its nicknames. I'm not sure of its origins.

Did a little searching. Of course! The nickname City of the Big Shoulders is from Chicago, a poem by Carl Sandburg from 1916.

    CHICAGO

    HOG Butcher for the World,
    Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat,
    Player with Railroads and the Nation's Freight Handler;
    Stormy, husky, brawling,
    City of the Big Shoulders:

They tell me you are wicked and I believe them, for I have seen your painted women under the gas lamps luring the farm boys.
And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: Yes, it is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to kill again.
And they tell me you are brutal and my reply is: On the faces of women and children I have seen the marks of wanton hunger.
And having answered so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer and say to them:
Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.
    Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job, here is a tall bold slugger set vivid against the little soft cities;

Fierce as a dog with tongue lapping for action, cunning as a savage pitted against the wilderness,
    Bareheaded,
    Shoveling,
    Wrecking,
    Planning,
    Building, breaking, rebuilding,
Under the smoke, dust all over his mouth, laughing with white teeth,
Under the terrible burden of destiny laughing as a young man laughs,
Laughing even as an ignorant fighter laughs who has never lost a battle,
Bragging and laughing that under his wrist is the pulse.
and under his ribs the heart of the people,
    Laughing!
Laughing the stormy, husky, brawling laughter of Youth, half-naked, sweating, proud to be Hog Butcher, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads and Freight Handler to the Nation.

I couldn't get the indenting as it is in the poem, but there it is.

    Phil

I also like "We're on a mission from Yoda". It's sorta Blues Brothers-ish and people would get the joke, being Chicagoans and all. Otherwise, "You're kind of scum" is great too.

I really like that "We're on a mission
from Yoda". Team that up with a
    cartoon drawing of Jedi wearing
sun glasses and it would be a classic!

Wow, that is an awsome poem. Thanks for posting it, Phil!

I'm acutally fond of "We're on a mission from Yoda" as well. We can probably have an addition run-off vote if there are only two to three top vote-getters.

I think I'd like the Big Shoulders slogan for a general CF shirt, but something else for the Line shirt. I haven't decided yet. I'll vote a bit later.

The only graphic we'll have on the T-Shirt will be the new LOGO (that some of you have now adopted as your FanForce Icon).

"Your kind of scum" is the best, although "...mission from Yoda" is close.

I voted for "Scum" just cause I think it's really funny. I dig the bounty hunter reference too."Mission from Yoda" would be funnier if their was a character in SW that rhymed with God.

Too bad this isn't a Superman Fan group. "We're on a mission from ZOD!" :)

I like Zilla's drawing. If we can use his art I'll go with "...Mission From Yoda" for the line-up & "Big Shoulders..." for the CF'ers regular slogan...

We could always go with "On a Mission from Lott Dodd", the nemiodian. :)

The "Yoda" one rocks, especially the artwork by 'zilla.

LOTT DODD! I knew there had to be one character that rymed with God. Thanks for ending my frustration Joda. :)

A few years ago...I guess we could have had pictures of Battle Droids in Sunglasses "We're on a mission from Dodd"
