Might as well post something from my avatar's band... one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded, in my humble opinion.
frank zappa, sting
murder by numbers
Decent Hendrix cover with Hothouse Flowers.
the end (full album)
The Who- Won't Get Fooled Again
Written by Bowie for Mott The Hoople.
bones of birds
Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me. I've tried, and tried, but I can't bring myself to appreciate Nico.
i listened to that new soundgarden the other day. it's pretty soundgardeny.
that's weird because fingernails on a chalkboard makes a high-pitched sound.
tom - i agree. that song up there is the best one on it. the album isn't bad, but it's not great either. chris cornell can't really belt it out anymore, which is so so sad.
yeah, you can tell he's completely thrashed his voice over the years. luckily a bit of a "thrashed" sound was always part of its appeal.
i think his bandmates are too scared to tell him that it sounds like there's a poopyfrog in his throat.
lol yeah, they just got him back!
We need to get Merriam-Webster on the phone. Poopyfrog must become a word!
oh hey i love night rangles!
No, no... her voice doesn't sound like nails on a chalkboard. Her voice produces the same general sense of "I've got to get away from this sound" as nails on a chalkboard.
someone recommend me a depressingly beautiful song about romantic woes.
