FF:VIC What sorts of events would you like to attend as a group?

So I'm not allowed to want to spend time with people I know and who's company I enjoy? Sorry, my mistake, I'll remember that in future.

And BoogieMan, I've been in Victoria for a year and half now. You've met me.

 

I think everyone is missing the point.

Star Walking is an organisation.

People that attend Star Walking events are called Star Wars fans.
People that post on these boards are called Star Wars fans.

WTF is the difference if it's a Star Walking event of if it's just a normal VicFF event?
I went to the Astor on the weekend, didn't see any VicFF people there.
Sat around for several hours with other fans and talked about almost anything other than Star Wars, had a great time, went home happy and satisfied that I'd had a fun day.

If you can't drag yourself along to an event, doesn't matter who runs the bloody thing, to meet people that share a similar interest, your fault.

Skate said it herself, she arranged something and no one came....no reason for people not to go, but they just didn't go.

 

LV, we've been through this debate in the other thread. I think we all know each other's opinions. If you want to spark it up again, be my guest, but I seriously don't think you are going to convert anyone.
