What starfighter would you want to fly for the Rebel Alliance? Each one is a beautiful design and have their own strengths and weaknesses

I love ship threads...real ones, not the romance type. :p

X-Wing or Y-Wing. A-Wing seems a bit cramped and B-Wing too awkward. Although I don't have interior diagrams in front of me so I could be wrong.

B-Wing for sure. It's my favorite Starfighter in the SWU.

I voted A-wing because it looks so zippy and fun to fly.

A-wing for speed and maneuverability, X-wing for something a little tougher with more firepower. Y-wing if I desperately needed a little more toughness and firepower than the X-wing. I wouldn't fly a B-wing on a bet; that thing looks like a malfunction waiting to happen.

I'd go with the Y-wing. It seems like a rugged, tough old ship and is maybe underappreciated compared to the more modern x wing. But I bet it's a lot easier to maintain and find spare parts for the y wing, which should be a big consideration if you're in a rebel group. And it probably has a much higher payload than the x wing, even if it pays for it in maneuverability. As for the other rebel ships, the a wing's speed is impressive, but it seems a very fragile ship, where even a single stray shot can destroy it. And I agree with the poster above that the b wing seems like a disaster waiting to happen. So y wing it is for me, with the caveat that I would do my best to avoid getting into any dogfights with tie fighters.

I'll go with the one that looks more like it should be called a lowercase t-wing

It looks awkward as hell to fly in but fun as frig to blow stuff up with

X-Wing. I fly with the superweapon killer, or not at all.

X-wing. Faster and more maneuverable than a Y-wing or B-wing, but more heavily protected and more heavily armed than an A-wing. It's the jack of all trades of the Rebellion.

Also, what's good enough for Wedge Antilles is good enough for me.

X-wing all day. They seem to be very accurate, have great maneuverability, and outstanding durability.

If we're bringing EU into this, I'll choose the E-Wing or Skipray Blastboat.....

Because I have flown one in first-person in Star Wars: Starfighter, I also would be rocking a Theed N-1.

X-Wings. It has speed but isn't delicate at the same time.

It's not a great quality craft, but I always kind of liked the look of the A-9 Vigilance.

    The position of refueler.

Y-wing. Always had a soft spot for reliable, utilitarian sorts. Like a trusty old dog that is always there for you.
