More cool looking ships like we saw in the Clone Wars or even older types. Kinda tired of seeing the same old Retro X-Wings & TIE's. lol

    Retro A-wings, surely?

I'd like to see some "Scum Starfighters" during this period - ships flown by pirates and the like.

Just played Star Wars Empire At War: Forces Of Corruption and seeing all of the Zann Consortium ships makes me want to see all of them in Rebels. Some of them are canon still. Just need to see them in Rebels.

Has anyone mentioned or identified what carrier that is seen on the new trailer for Rebels? Looked something like the old Quasar Fire-class/ Alliance escort carrier.

It is almost certainly the "newcanon version" of that model of ship.

I would really love to see Sundered Heart with it's modified engines. Even if it were to just make a cameo.

The Phoenix fleet needs a dedicated carrier. Maybe an Imperial II class frigate like the Rand Ecliptic was portrayed as in the Rebellion comic storyline of how Biggs got to the Rebellion.

Judging by the trailers, they've gone with a Quasar Fire-class Bulk Cruiser as the rebel fleet's dedicated carrier.

Maybe the Praetor II battlecruiser from the old Marvel Star Wars- Admiral Giel's flagship?

Munificent-frigates, Separatist dreadnoughts and Lucrehulks- etc separatist ships used by the Rebels. There are probably still plenty of such ships there after the clone wars, captured by pirates and scavengers and by the rebels as well. They should be modified to be better fit for a living crew instead of droids and painted in rebel-colors instead of CIS ones of course.

AAT-tanks would be nice addition for rebel armed forces along with AT-RT:s

Then of course abandoned republic fighters like ARC-170s, Y-wings and headhunters- custom painted by the rebel pilots and modified heavily. Republic capital ships maybe but sparingly- I imagine Empire wouldn't abandon capital ships as easily as fighters and speeders etc. since they are more valuable and can be used as troop transports etc.

Would also be interesting to see uglies made of destroyed Ties combined with other ships like Y-wings and A-wings

The Escort Frigate's a bit lacking in visible room for launch bays though - despite the idea that it can carry two squadrons.

I'd like to see the Y-wing playing a more prominent role in Rebels. Also I'd like the "Outrider" to make an appearance!

If you look at it in the cross sections book (which has the 'medical frigate' conversion the rebels did) it looks to me like the upper front of the ship would have enough room for a hanger that would suffice for 24 starfighters. depending of course on the size of the ships.

I'd like to see the rebels using old ARC-170's and torrent fighters. I'd also like to see a properly proportioned star destroyer, the ones in Rebels just look off to me.

Uglies! Eta-2/ARC-170 hybrid, TIE/Tri-fighter crossbreed, A-wing underling with buzz droid missiles... make the Rebels look like a rag-tag group.

I know this is not possible as we have not even been shown the X-Wing yet so maybe it does not exist yet....therefore the parts are not there....but I would love to see the Twi'lek Chir'daki.

Vengeance-class SSD (the kind of flagship Jerec had in Jedi Knight).

In the real world, generally a class of ships is named after the first ship of that class. E.G. the first Nevada-class battleship was the USS Nevada. The first Mogami-class heavy cruiser was the Mogami. Etc.

It's unknown whether Star Wars capital ships are the same way. Since there is only one canon instance I know of (the Executor) in which a ship shares the same name as its class. But the fact that there is an Executor-class SSD and Vader's flagship is the Executor is conspicuous.

That would mean there are at least two Executor class SSDs in service by the time of ANH. Tagge's flagship in the comics, and the Executor (under whoever's command it is at this time). So I wouldn't mind the Executor showing up under someone else's command.

Legends did not follow this scheme, as the first Imperial class Star Destroyer was called Executrix or something like that.

But at any rate, I'd like to see a dreadnought in action, considering the Executor didn't do anything in ROTJ, except get destroyed. I'm a fan of the Vengeance design, and it could be recanonized as an earlier dreadnought design, or the fact that Tagge is on an Executor-class flagship shortly after ANH that is not the Executor itself could suggest that the Executor and an unknown number of SSDs could be in service pre-ANH
