I own all three machines. And don't ask me to choose which is better, each have their own advantages and disadvantages. I like the cube, the graphics are usually awesome, the xbox has great graphics and the HD, and the PS2 has decent graphics and a great controller.
All have good and great games, i was playing spidey on cube again last night, and Hitman 2 on xbox.

okay guys havent been online for like 2 years. ok 1. LINK isnt out yet, i saw the screenshots on the np magazine ( btw he looks like a crap bag ) 2) goldeneye is the classic game for n64, if u know how to play that is ( looking at leia ) 3) i would take xbox over ps2 cause i dont need a dvd player. xbox have the exact good games as ps2, but xbox doesnt have the gta series but ps2 dont have halo halo halo. and xbox has a better controller

xbox's controller is the worst out of all three systems, PS2 has great games, and more variety. And if you don't like cell shaded games, you shouldn't be playing games in the first place.

I own a PS2 and I think its the best choice. It has the best game library and the controller is great, not to mention its a dvd player. But I want to buy either Xbox or Gamecube soon too. Between those 2 i'm torn..
I'm thinking gamecube becasue of the titles that only nintendo has

For ease of use I really think the GC controller is the best one ever made. For those games where you have to hit two buttons at once with your thumb it's a lot easier with a GC controller than any of the others. I played around with my friends Xbox while i was in CA and I gotta say that has got to be one of the crappiest controllers ever made. I know recently they've released a smaller version which is much better...which actually looks quite a bit like the Dreamcast controllers.

personally i'd say get a gamecube if you already own a ps2, as more SW games are coming out on GC and PS2. I don't have the problem of which system to get, my only problem, is when one game is released on all three systems like spidey, which system do i buy the game for :D
GC has the best graphics of all 3 (IMHO)
The Xbox controller (the new S Controller) was released in Japan within 2 months of the system being out. Its smaller and the Start and Back buttons are now on the lower left side of the controller under the D-Pad.
The Dreamcast was good, but Sega stuffed up by not releasing games.

Fave Game atm Bloodbowl (it has a huge amount of profanity)

I've been wondering ever since I voted on this awhile ago. What exactly is it that you mean by "I am old fashioned" ?

I think when this generation has reached its end, the Xbox will come out on top.
