ON What the Average Non Fan Girl thinks about when watching a SW movie

Hey everyone, the boards here have been too quiet so I thought I'd share something that you can attempt to answer to or just laugh at.

My sister's friend wanted to see the classic SW movies and have me explain stuff. I was happy to oblige. My sister said I was NOT allowed to quote anything. So, over the course of Return of the Jedi (non fan girls like this one best of the CT) these are the types of questions she came up with, completely unaltered.

1. How do the rebel people make money?
2. Do they have bank accounts?
3. Do they pay taxes?
4. Where do they get their clothes?
5. Does someone cut chewy's hair (as she spells it)
6. If Laya (spelled by her) is a princess, why does she have to work?
7. Do they have a union?
8. Do they have birth control?
9. Doesn't Darth Vader ever get dry skin from that mask?
10. Where are the gas stations?
11. Wouldn't Darth Vader's cape be annoying all the time?
12. Does Darth Vader get hot?
13. Does he ever wear anything like pjs or a sweatsuit?
14. Where do they buy makeup?
15. Do they have a newspaper?
16. Who cleans the ships?
17. Do they pay rent/mortgages?
18. Do they have dentists?
19. Where do they get their food?
20. How come there are hardly any girls?
21. How do stormtroopers go to the bathroom?
22. How come nobody wears glasses?
23. Do they ever take vacations?
24. Do they get shots?
25. Who does Laya's hair?
26. Do you have to try out to be a stormtrooper?
27. Do they have any restaurants?
28. Do they have couples therapy for Han and Leia?
29. Why doesn't Darth Vader add colour to his suit?
30. Does Luke wear boxers or briefs?

 

Now some of those questions are pretty silly... like the last one, but some are reasonable. How DO the rebels make money?

 

1. How do the rebel people make money? The rebellion accepts charitable donations
2. Do they have bank accounts? Yes unless they have donated everything to the rebellion
3. Do they pay taxes? No since they are not under a specific government
4. Where do they get their clothes? - There are a lot of rebels that do the sewing but are not seen on screen. They are in back
5. Does someone cut chewy's hair (as she spells it) Not unless he wants it cut. He does have to comb it every day or it gets knotted.
6. If Laya (spelled by her) is a princess, why does she have to work? She doesn?t have to work but she likes to keep busy
7. Do they have a union? I would not think so
8. Do they have birth control? I am sure they would have something
9. Doesn't Darth Vader ever get dry skin from that mask? No
10. Where are the gas stations? They don?t need gas as everything is nuclear powered
11. Wouldn't Darth Vader's cape be annoying all the time? I am sur eif he kept tripping over it he would get it changed in length
12. Does Darth Vader get hot? His suit has a cooling system or he keeps his ships cold
13. Does he ever wear anything like pjs or a sweatsuit? No he needs the suit to survive
14. Where do they buy makeup? Courasant
15. Do they have a newspaper? They have electronic versions
16. Who cleans the ships? Droids
17. Do they pay rent/mortgages? No. The rebellion is like a commune
18. Do they have dentists? Yes, droids
19. Where do they get their food? Synthesizers
20. How come there are hardly any girls? They were normally out of side doing other important stuff
21. How do stormtroopers go to the bathroom? Opening panels
22. How come nobody wears glasses? They have solved that problem
23. Do they ever take vacations? If they want
24. Do they get shots? Yes.
25. Who does Laya's hair? C3PO
26. Do you have to try out to be a stormtrooper? Yes
27. Do they have any restaurants? Courasant
28. Do they have couples therapy for Han and Leia? Yes Something like the Betty Ford clinic
29. Why doesn't Darth Vader add colour to his suit? It would undermine his ability to strike fear in his enemies
30. Does Luke wear boxers or briefs? Boxers

 

No. Stormtroopers are clones, born and bred for the life of "stormtrooping".

lol. They are "normal" people, not clones. They are brainwashed with Imperial propoganda and trained or (I want to say Carridia?, but I'm to tired to go check..) and yadda yadda. lol

 

this is why it is important to limit your time with non fangirls.

Very nice answers there Alex!!!! Stormtroopers evolved from the clone troopers, but they are not all clones, however the empire does like the troops to look uniform, hence, "arn't you a little short for a stormtrooper?"
