What the....

I cna't seem to understand this system of space battle. If anybody has in house rules or explinations of large space battles. For example, I want to do a full scale attack of an ISD with X,A, and B-wings with about 4 PCs and a few NPCs to fill about a few more squads. Possibly a Deth Star attack. Please Im lost. Help a GM in need!!!

In this case I'd make the focus around the heros with the rest of the battle going on in the background. So for example they might join a fighter squad together and that squad would have an encounter with an enemy unit or whatever whilst the rest of the fight is going on in the backround which you are free to make up as you go along to fit your plans. This way you don't have to keep track of about 12 sqaudrons of fighters plus a couple of capital ships in a combat zone all at once, you just make up the rest and fill the heroes in as and when needed.
