Discussion What trilogy is most likely to happen after 7-9

10-12? Knights of the old republic? reboot?
What are your ideas for those movies?

 

Darth Bane Trilogy (based on novels by Drew Karpyshyn) (2021, 2023, 2025)
X-XII (2027, 2029, 2031)
Sith Empire Trilogy (based on "Golden Age of the Sith" and "The Fall of the Sith Empire") (2033, 2035, 2037)
XIII-XV (2039, 2041, 2043)
Revan Trilogy (based on KotOR1, "Revan" and SWTOR) (2045, 2047, 2049)

+ a lot of tv-series (by Lucasfilm Animation and Lucasfilm), games, novels and movie spin-offs (single stories, like SW: Yoda, SW: Mara Jade, SW: Boba Fett)

That could be great! Long live Star Wars.

 

I doubt that they will do the books. 10-12 will continue the adventures of the younger generation of 7-9 and the new generation for 10-12. After that should be one-off's like the current Disney Marvel run.

 

I bet they throw in a tv series during the ST. Probably one something like KOTOR or Boba Fett.

 

a TV series based on the Yuuzhan Vong wars focused on a more adult audience would be really amazing.

 

This I would like to see so much but the cost to make it would be astronomical and who knows if it will be successful?

 

I don't want any Old Republic movies.

They'll probably do spin-offs.

 

If we have movies that were of the style of the TOR trailers that would be sweet. Expensive but sweet. Obviously for other things beside TOR

 

the novels were successful, and i think that the big 3 is always a great focus of atention, ( + the death of chewy, + many jedi battles, + the empire + the sons o han and leia).
Maybe the adaptation of the novels or maybe an story focused on Kyle Katarn?, i go for something like the Tartakovsky´s Clone Wars in the way to tell the story, every episode, an adventure of a new character and a principal storyline parallel of the others.

 

The books were pretty successful but turned off a lot of people. It almost turned me off as well. Agreed about the great plot lines and all that though. A Kyle Katarn movie would be great. The Tartakavsky style of doing the Clone Wars as the format for the movies? Let's do it!

 

an animated Dark Empire adaption?, in a miniseries format maybe?....
