    It's a hard thing to pick a preference for. It all comes down to the demands of your story, not what we fanboys/girls geek out over. :)

    An Alternative? Smugglers, fighter pilots, droids, alien musicans, etc...
    I just despise the trend in Star Wars novels and such that the only people capable of doing anything have to be Jedi.

    And thats why Jedi give me hives.
