    msn is the best, i am online the whole day even when i am not there :)
    i have had icq for about 10 seconds then i threw it away :D
    i stick to msn that's for sure

    All of my friends are on AIM, so I use that. But I also use MSN, ICQ, ect.

    AIM mostly.

    Next comes MSN, mainly for seeing if I've got any new e-mail in my Hotmail account.

    I've used Yahoo 2 or 3 times.

    I used to use ICQ a lot but haven't used it in recent times. Most of the people I chat with have switched to AIM so I switched with them.

    Many many many: Yahoo, MSN, AOL, NIM, AIM, ICQ, you name it.

    I always run ICQ, and Yahoo, but use AOL (actually NIM) Primarily.

    I have AOL so I only use AOL Instant Messenger because it comes with the AOL service!

    NIM is better than AIM or AOL.

    ICQ\ is still better.

    Has same functions, way better
    MSN or whatnot is ok also.

    I think in the US everyone has AOL, so they have AIM. But in England i only know people on MSN, which is the best IMHO

    Theoretically, I have both YM and ICQ.

    Practically- I never use them. Too many people bothering on ICQ.

    AIM, that is the most common one I use. :)
    I like Yahoo also, because of their smilies, they are much better than AIM's.
