I use all of them - although mostly AIM since everyone and their brother uses it.
I use all of them in a little package called Trillian.
I prefer Yahoo...
but I also have AIM
AOL = But I do use AIM, but only because a lot of my friends are on it.
AIM becuase it is how I can talk to family members who don't know better and ICQ for the sentimental value it holds.
AOL, but YIM is cool because I can actually use the mic to talk to friends.
ICQ has degenrated into a porno network
I don't currently use an IM program. But if I did, I'd use Miranda IM. It supports ICQ, MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Jabber, IRC, etc. and it is completely free and open source. On top of that, it's less than a 1 MB download. You choose which protocols you want as plugins. It uses 1/10th the memory of ICQ. Custom icons, custom background, etc.
I use AOL, MSN and ICQ.
ICQ is the most complete, AOL is the easyest to use expecially over a firewalled environment, MSN is what I use over the LAN..
Nothing but MSN. I used to have ICQ, but it hates my computer grief and now all my mates use MSN, or Trillian. And if they don't, well, I don't talk to them!
MSN 6 is great, spiffy backgrounds and you can add emoticons! I love being able to use and in MSN convos!
I use trillian. Great program that combines AIM, MSN, ICQ, IRC, and Yahoo into one great program
AIM - IM's
MSN - Remote Desktop
Yahoo - Instant Notification when you got new email, by sound. So you don't have to have a browser window open to know you got mail. I like it a lot
Just in case someone want to try it
I use AIM.
If I ever do use an instant messenger, I use Yahoo.
I have AOL and Yahoo but 95% of the time, I use AOL.
I use AIM. The other messengers seem to upset my computer.
Yahoo messenger exclusively.
msn i dont like aim
MSN, mostly because it's the main one my friends use. . I've tried all the others (Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ) but don't really have a favorite out of them. .
I prefer to use AIM, since I like it the best. However, all of my friends use ICQ, so I gave my vote to that, for I use it more.
