Speaking of which, I became slightly Queen-Like myself this weekend. My new job, Chief Key Holder of the RMFF Insane Asylum. What are the perks w/ that job, from someone who's been there?

My official title is "broker services specialist." Basically, I maintain a database for calculating realized and unrealized gains and losses (sounds comlicated, but not once you understand the system) and I do a LOT of correspondence on behalf of the brokers to mutual fund and annuity companies. It's all very dull.

My degree, however, is much more fun-video production. I am searching for a job in the field, but I can't find one in Phoenix that I want yet. I'm still looking. (I don't really want to move to LA!!)

 

Blockbuster asst manager.. it sucks but at least i get episode 2 on dvd a week or so before anyone else.. do I see a pre street date viewing party coming???

 

Why yes! Yes I do. I'll drive that far for Ep II. Ok that, and I haven't seen Corey Feldman since July.

 

I am a Purchasing Specialist for an R&D company which invents NDA explosion detections devices...full time

Foreman on a small Ranch...part time.

Plus and Artist trying to get work done before Con next year...

did I mention I start school in the spring?

 

Feldman, that would rock!! Getting stuff before anyone else can is one of the (very) few things I miss abuot working in a video store. (That and stealing the screeners. "If you have rented or purchased this videotape, call 1-800-NO-COPIES" )

 

Screeners are fun! but yeah, i should have it around Nov. 3rd or so.. so we have to plan a time (and a place) as it gets closer to that date.
WOOHOO!!!

BTW, Currently GED teacher, soon to be an "education specialist" at an elementary school and after that an Options Trader and Real Estate Investor!

 

I currently own a small insurance brokerage but I start my flight training on October 5th. I am going to get my commercial pilots license and work for the airlines.

 

We will have a viewing party before street date.. anyone wanna offer up a place to do it?.. unfortunately it wont be my copy (as in owning it) but i can rent it before street date and keep it till the day it comes out..WOOHOO!!

 

Hey MC, maybe you could help me out. I'm helping out at the Youth Shelter w/ the computer lab, and some of the kids were looking for some extra help w/ their GED studies. Got any great one night activities?

Oh, yeah, I'm also studying to be HS History Teacher (what is this thing I keep hearing about, it's called Free-time, I think?"

 

free time is those wonderful hours between bedtime and morningtime when you're out cold

Other than that, I'm a full time student at ASU West.

 

I am a teacher. I just moved here from Yuma where I taught high school biology and chemistry for three years. Now I'm teaching 7th and 8th grade science. Why the step down? Long story.
