What was the deal between the Trade Federation and Sidious?

    I think they got assurances that their invasion was legal. The thing I don't get is how Sidious "betrayed" them? I mean when it was all said and done the Federation got to keep their droid armies, they got to stay in business, and Gunray was allowed to remain Viceroy, that hardly seems like betrayal to me.

    They got the promise that the trade taxes would be aborted, or whatever...
