I never bought any vinal, not for myself anyway.

I did buy Blue Velvet on vinal for my aunt for Christmas one year though.

My first album was These Days by Bon Jovi.

I'm not a big fan of singles, but I think my first was "The Impression That I Get" by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

I can't remember what the first CD I bought was. I think the first vinyl LP I bought was the ROTJ soundtrack when I was 4...Well, my mother bought that for me. I think the first LP I bought myself was something by Poison...Yeah, I'm cool!

 

A cassette tape single from the Batman movie, can't remember the song exactly, just that it may have been the prince one.

I got it at the time coz it had the batman sign on the front and i thought it looked cool. I was only about 6, wasted all my pocket money on a song that i didn't like and all coz of a cool case.

 

Cant remember first single- first album was on tape and was 'The Final Countdown' by Europe.

heh, the first album i got on tape was Velveteen by Transvision Vamp (wendy james ),

the first cassette single was EMF - Unbelievable that was "pilfered" from HMV in brum (if edgejedi reads this: i know i know, i wasn`t always the golden boy )

 

my dads a DJ so I dont really BUY records.


however the first record I bought was 'Ms Jackson - outkast'
