Nice! I wasn't a big fan of either of Schreiber's SW books (don't really care for horror), but anytime you can get a book signed, that's pretty nice
Just put in an Amazon UK pre-order for FOTJ: Conviction and a couple of other SW books (comic tpbs) due out in May.
Warriors 1, which contains The Mystery Knight, the 3rd Dunk and Egg novella by GRRM. Been waiting a while for this one, but I just couldn't justify buying the big hardcover. And FOTJ: Conviction was out early so I picked it up too.
You lucky person!!!! lol I had my buddy I was a manager with at BAM looking for the book on the shipment so I could get it early like I usually can with SW books and this one has been marked Strick Dated for tues.... So even though he is head man there now there is nothing I can do but wait as my Wal mart seldom carries SW books.
Just picked up both Tales of the Jedi Omnibus today for cheap, also found the Legacy of the Drow Quartet and Heroes Die all for $1 a piece. Evil.
Im still reading 6 and I have 7 but BAM shoud have 8 in again next week, so Im no danger of set backs. But no I wouldnt skip it even if it took mnths to come in Id wait it out. I dont jumping ahead and playing catch up.
Our local Hastings was having a going-out-of-business sale, so I got New Spring, the first 4 Wheel of Time books, Elantris, Warbreaker, and Wizard's First Rule.
All good choices there! I read New Spring first myself before the main series so my enjoyment of it was more then most fans reactions so def read it first yourself... You cant go wrong with the Sanderson choices either, so good decision on your part! WFR I read that one and really liked it but I never finished anyother book in that series and have heard many, MANY horror stories about it so I cant really encourage that one for you.
I've already read all the WoT books, this was just a good opportunity to buy all the books that I read from the library. For the Sanderson books, I wanted to get The Way of Kings as well, but it wasn't included in the sale . And I thought I'd see for myself just what all the commotion is about with Goodkind, when I get around to reading WFR I'll probably library the next couple of books to be safe. (I hate it when my library does that, has every book in the series except the first one). And none of these will be read until I've finished Malazan.
