There's 5 altogether. I bought the lot off Amazon UK after reading the first.

Postman just brought an Amazon UK order containing Dan Simmons' new hardcover - Flashback. I was going to wait for the tp but the hc was half price so I splurged. Looks like he is back to sci-fi with this one as it takes place in America in 2036.

A note for UK folks - retail price on the hc is £20. So regular hc's have broken the normal £18.99 price.

Not sure when I'll give it a go. I am reading the Meg series and the Dante Valentine series. I'll fit it in somewhere.

I checked out Borders today, since it's at 60-70% off, but I couldn't find any fantasy or historical nonfiction books I wanted, so I picked up a couple chick lit books for a rainy day.

Picked up the Towers of Midnight paperback the other day. Really feeling an urge to reread WoT, but keep reminding myself to wait a little bit longer so I finish close to when A Memory of Light is due out.

Fire Wars and Return of the Wizard by Jessica Palmer. Both long out of print now so I'm stoked to have them both. I've just found two other books that I want by her, so I'll probably get those in the next week or so too.

Amazon's showing Apocalypse (last FotJ book, which I assume is what you meant) as not being due out until the beginning of April - must have been some delay there, because it wasn't originally that late.

LotF's been complete for a while now, and JS was talking about the Legacy comics.

Riptide is the sequel to Crosscurrent, the Paul Kemp duology that takes place between LotF and FotJ, focusing on Jaden Korr.

Also, I'm two thirds of the way through Riptide already. [face_whistling]
