Finished Nailed It. The last episode is a 10 minute crossover with the Queer Eye guys. Funniest episode of the season and the only "guy" I know is the one from "Gay of Thrones".

I tweeted at Nicole Byer yesterday and she liked my tweet.

 

The Last Defense, the final episode to the Darlie Routier. Not as compelling and captivating as Netflix's Making a Murderer, but it held my interest. New case starts next week.

Cloak and Dagger, felt like a filler episode.

UFC Weigh - ins

 

I reluctantly started watching the second season of "Glow" and am at the fourth episode. Like with Tarantino, I've been kind of miffed with producer Jenji Kohan and certain characters, particularly "Orange is the New Black," but this is a little more tolerable.

 

Barnwood Builders

 

Big Hero 6 Bro-tillion and Food Fight. Bro-tillion was OK but I thought that Food Fight was better. I liked the underground cooking fight club idea.

Ducktales The Golden Lagoon of White Agony Plains. Solid episode. I liked the chemistry between Scrooge and Goldie.

 

Star Trek Voyager "Meld": After a crewman confesses to committing murder, Tuvok initiates a mind meld in order to understand his reasoning.

Guest stars: Brad Dourif, mostly known as the voice of Chucky and as Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings.

 

Dourif is so great in that episode.

 

He was fantastic. I'm not a big Voyager fan, but that episode was gripping because Dourif is just so talented.

 

Star Trek TNG. The episode where Troi gets to be Captain for an episode. I think the episodes titled Disaster.

 

Yep, that's the one.

 

And Worf has to help Keiko with her delivery.

 

Drunk History: Animals

If you have the means, definitely check out Clever Hans, the counting horse. Rich Fulcher is hilarious! He's done a couple other Drunk History episodes, but this one had me in tears.

 

A couple of things on my DVR, the latest episode of Big Brother and American Ninja Warrior and some YouTube Movie Trivia Schmoedown.

 

Did you watch Sneider vs Bibbiani? I watched that one at the gym yesterday during my workout.

Drunk History The Middle Ages
1) Joan of Arc
2) Temujin
3) Mansa Musa

When I think of Joan of Arc, I think martyr, but I don't think the word came up once in the retelling. The definitely touched on the religious aspect so I was kind of surprised.

Temujin wasn't super funny, but I found it the most interesting. I don't want to spoil it, but defintiely check that one out.

Mansa Musa told the story about this super rich African leader during the 1300s who took a trip to Cairo and Mecca and then back home with a giant caravan of his people. There really wasn't much to the story and in the end felt a little more preachy than telling an intersting story and being funny about it.

Two Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes on DVD:

"Q-pid": In an attempt to repay his debt to Picard after the events of "Deja Q," Q transforms Picard, Vash, and the entire crew into characters from Robin Hood. Best quote from the episode: Worf-"Captain, I must protest, I am not a merry man."

"True Q": A young woman is traveling about the Enterprise, and soon discovers that she's a Q. Best quote from the episode: Q-[Crusher] gets more shrill with each passing year.

 

I also just finished the second season! And then watched the first episode of the new Queer Eye (technically the most recent TV episode I've watched), and now I'm hooked. They're all just so delightful!

 

You bet I did. I liked Bibbiani's entrance, but I can't believe the match went down the way it did.

Tonight is the Collision II and I'll be watching that tonight.

Last night I watched the latest Big Brother episode and the latest episodes of Cloak and Dagger and The Last Defense.

 

I just finished watching American Vandal on Netflix last night and it was great. It's a lot smarter and has a lot more to say than the previews portray. It draws humor from realism rather than the over-the-top Serial/Making a Murderer satire I was expecting. I thought it was just a mini-series but apparently a second season is coming out soon!
