Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 on Hard.
I finally finished the Crysis 2 campaign the other day...it seemed to go on for ever. And the end bits with all those heavies was a real pain.
I need to finish getting the collectables in Crysis 2, and I should probably try for the other achievements too.
Gears 3. Fantastic.
I've finally beaten Wind Waker.
Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale! Great fun from start to finish, which makes getting one achievement (getting all for characters to level 10) not that bad. Four runs and hopefully I should pick up all the achievements.
Finished all the career races in Forza 3 to get 1000/1000 on it. Been prepping for Forza 4.
Awesome! I suck at drifting so I know I'll never get the epic drift achievement, which kinda sucks, I guess.
Gears of War 3 last week
Gears of War 2 this week
Going from 3 to 2 wasn't too bad, they pretty much feel like the same game.
They pretty much ARE the same game. I found nothing really innovative there gamewise.
Anyhoo, Gears 3, beaten.
Lol, I've had Gears 3 for nearly 2 weeks now and I haven't even touched the campaign outside of a few splitscreen sessions before I bought it.
Anyway, I beat Mass Effect 1 yesterday, 2nd run with my first character and got up to Level 60. When I saw how big the gap from 59-60 was I died a little. But, fortunately Bring Down The Sky has like 15 or so turrets that give out 1017xp each on foot, and Pinnacle Station gives out 2000ish for each simulation so in the end I hit Level 60 while talking to Vigil on Ilos. I was so relieved at that point.
No, but that isn't why I play them. I'm just there for the ride.
Yeah, I admit it: me too. But Gears' story is over now. Time to move on to bigger, better, and BATtier things.
Visited a friend yesterday and we ended up spending 5 hours or so on completing Limbo on the PS3 from start to finish.
Clever little game. Fun little platformer. Some of the puzzles are pretty tricky, but the game does a good job of elevating the stakes and interactions as you progress. Creepy and ominous visuals too (the game is very reminiscent of that game Feist that came out on the Mac (at least the beta version) a few years ago, though I think that's on PC now too; also some comparisons to the sunset level effects in Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Wii), and the various death animations and scenarios provided much hilarity.
Controls for grabbing or dragging things were sometimes a little sloppy though (sometimes objects or traps you drag have a tendency to slide/roll longer than they should, so when you release them, they end up killing you.

Rage. Awful ending to a pretty good game. It's like they forgot to include a final boss battle.
Crysis. I've got all the achievements except the ones for playing through on the hardest difficulty. That can wait for another time.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
good game, story aint as good as earlier games IMO but i liked it
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I had a similar reaction to the ending of Space Marine, I was not satisfied with the button-mashing sequence in lieu of a proper final boss fight.
Spider-Man Edge of Time, now I'm working on Batman Arkham City.
Arkham City!! (last night) [hl=black]JOKER'S DEAD!!!![/hl]
Of course, I've only done the main story, still got all the millions of Riddler trophies and side missions to do.
Arkham City*. That asterisk is there because to me truly "beating it" means getting Perfect Knight - Day 2. I welcome that challenge.
Final Fantasy XIII. Finally!
This. Game of the year so far for me.
