Yeah Chris,I liked "Whip it" when it first came out,but that wore off pretty fast.I don't hate them just can't listen to Devo anymore, they just don't come close to Korn. :)

Whip It was their pop hit. It wore thin quick for me because the radio played it a gazillion times.

    I much prefer
    "Through Bein Cool"
    "Peek-A-Boo"
    "Beautiful World"
    and "Freedom of Choice"

Ace Of Base - The Sign. It was the first CD I ever bought. Well, actually NKOTB was the first CD I ever bought. I didn't have a CD player though. I thought it was a tape. So by the time I got a CD player I no longer liked NKOTB.

And ummm, Davey Jones's Christmas album. I knew a girl who worked for him so we went to see him together at a Christmas concert one year.

Chris -- whoa; SW&OGF is out on CD?? Cool...

How 'bout: most of Styx's Kilroy Was Here (but it has sentimental value to me!) Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto . . .

Not "embarrassing" as in "Wow, that's crap!" ... but claiming to a non-geek type that I own these might be embarrassing:

    - Every album ever made by Weird Al Yankovic (though I've lost most of the old tapes)

    - Every soundtrack album from the Final Fantasy games and other games, plus orchestral arrangements

    - Every PDQ Bach album. (I've also been to three of his live concerts at Carnegie Hall). PDQ is (in)famous for such works as: Eine Kleine Nicht Musik, The Unbegun Symphony, and the Schleptet in E Flat Major

    :D

I inherited alot of Quaterflash and Meatloaf 8-tracks, including Styx "Cornerstone".

As far as album, I had the Men at Work album and won the Loverboy album (still sealed) down the shore at Union Jacks.

Weird AL's Daer to be Stupid is in there.

I'm glad someone else mentioned "8-tracks" before I did...LMAO I still have tons of actual albums left and even more casettes and a few 45's. We should have a SWNYC oldies music day and just play away....maybe make a game of it..."Who is this?"

    ;)

Edit: I personally like all kinds of music too and see nothing wrong with alot yall mention. As they say, variety is the Spice of Life!!

I am ashamed to say, that for all my anti grunge, I own Nirvana Unplugged. It's tragic, yes, but damnit I need to hear Lake of Fire every so often!

    Nirvana is the shiznit!
I would never think of putting them under an 'embarrassing album' category.
    Good songs=good memories.
But I guess its all based on taste since u say u dont like grunge.

oh yeah, for some odd reason, I bought the soundtrack to Save The Last Dance. Im still confused as to why I spent money on it.....

The only song I really like from them is "Smells Like Teen Spirit". I also think Wierd Al did a great job parodying Nirvana. I guess I'm just becoming an old man...I'm not an old man, am I Silver???
