What was the one thing you thought Lucas SHOULD have put in the PT that he didn't put in...

for me it would have been seeing a jedi construct a lightsaber...

i think there was a moment in the CLONE WARS CARTOON but thats not good enough for me...

What do you guys think?

some training scenes, better continuity between trilogies, a little more motivation for anakin wanting power for powers sake. more clone wars wouldve been nice as well

 

I would have liked to see more of the lesser-known Jedi, especially during the Clone Wars. In fact, I think that most of the stuff in TPM and AOTC could have been condensed into one movie, with the second being mostly about the Clone Wars...

 

More Maul... It would have been cool if he survivied...

More Dooku... seeing him in EP1 would have been awesome...

And More Grievous... having his character show up at the arena battle in EP2 would have been wicked!

But they're just nitpicks. Everything else is perfect.

 

I'm not saying he SHOULD have put it in but I would have liked to have seen Qui-Gon's ghost appear just as Obi-Wan did to Luke in the later episodes. Considering it was Qui-Gon who worked out how to do it it would have been cool seeing him appear to Obi-Wan at the end of Episode 3.

Funny how you say that because the PT has way more complex and BETTER, yes BETTER plots. The only movie that really doesn't have a plot is everyones holy ESB.

 

Something truly memorable for Chewbacca to do so when we see him in ANH we'd be like, "oh yeah, there goes Chewie. Remember when he ? in ROTS.

More Clone Wars. Yes, the cartoons covered it, but if I watched the movies from a strictly-movie standpoint, I would be very confused as to what happened during the war.

The main thing I would have wanted to see is:

A stronger explanation for the cause of Padme's death and the symbiotic relationship between her and Anakin.

Other things:

I agree that seeing a teaser appearance by Grevious in the Arena on Geonosis would have been cool - many are confused and believe that he has Force ability just because Dooku taught him (the cyborg) to use a lightsaber.

I would have liked to have seen more of Maul in TPM, but believe he should have died there, as OB1 killing him is important to his development as a Jedi Knight and taking Anakin as a Padawan.

It should have been explained that Dooku was a fallen Jedi, and that he left the Jedi order after the battle of Naboo. Maybe if we had seen him fighting as a Jedi in the battle of Naboo?

I like Obi-Wan so I would have liked to see more about his background. Where did he come from? Who was his family? Where the heck did he LIVE? Plus, more "good times" and laughs with Obi-Wan and Anakin before the fall.

i wish the other prequels were as cool as rots. tpm was characterless crud. hayden and christopher lee were the only good things in aotc

 

I think Lucas should have followed the EU idea and included the Mandalorians into the movies as the main opponents rather than the Trade Federation battle droids. The Mandalorians could have teamed up with the Sith Lords so we would see the Jedi fight a spectacular series of battles against these two far more formidable foes.

 

Alderaan... as a major location.

 

I'm not dissing the plot.

But how about some acting?

McGreggor was good, Ian was awesome.

but... Hayden... kinda... bugged me. and Natalie didn't help.

part of their problems was the lines Lucas had in there...

great creative mind. not the best at writing a script.
