What was your first impression watching the SW films?

I was 7-8 years when I first saw the OT.

If you saw it in 77 than you must remenber it. Your first impression on a movie like this cant be forgotten. Are all of you oldschool fans?

 

I first saw ANH in 86 when I was 4. I didn't really feel the need to give it a mark on a scale from 1 to 10. I just thought it was the best thing I had ever seen.

 

I was only very little at that time, barely in school. I can't even remember what my own grandmother looked or sounded like (she died a year before ANH came out), so how do you expect me to remember going to see ANH? Nope, sorry, just like my memory of my grandmother I can't remember seeing ANH for the first time, neither can I remember who I saw it with. All I can remember is that I've liked Star Wars from the start. I got the toys and I bought the comics, but that's all I can remember. And to be honest, I didn't fully understand it at the time.

 

I remember watching ANH at the drive in, and the sound seemed so huge outside.

 

I first saw "A New Hope" when I was 7-8 yrs. old when I was at my uncle's house. Me and my dad were there and I thought it looked interesting. When I watched it, it was the best movie I had ever seen! Naturally, I had to borrow the rest of the trilogy and watch it later in the week and have been hooked ever since. While some people like Episodes IV-VI better and some I-III better, I can't say I like one over the other.

I honestly can't remember. I was too young.

 

I'm pretty sure that Return of the Jedi was my first one.
I loved it. I remember having the toys for the movies, like the Death Star with the cool trash compactor and all the Emipre play sets, but don't remember the movies.
I watched them all the time after that.
