What was your first reaction when you saw that Darth Maul's lightsaber was double bladed?

I still get thrilled when Maul unveals his double bladed lightsaber on my TPM DVD. For me, it defines cool

I'm curious LukeSkywalker89, what was your reaction or was it nothing compared to the Classic Trilogy.

 

My reaction was similar to Blast's reaction. " So that's different".

 

"Well, this should be interesting..."

It's hard to get me excited about stuff like that.

"I really, really wish they hadn't shown this in the previews! It would have been so cool to be SURPRISED!!"

 

Yep, it would have been one strange surprise.

 

I wonder if it´s possible to erase certain "files" in the brain, so you could watch Star Wars for the first time again?

To be honest, I wasn'y surprised. All I thought was, it was cool and I couldn't wait for the duel to begin.

I nearly pissed in my pants it was so cool...well I was only 12 then

 

Frist reaction: "****!" That's gonna be ******* awesome."

Second reaction: "Waitaminute! They had a double bladed saber in the Tales of the Jedi comics."

Third reaction: "I hope he fights with the two separate parts at once, like in the comics."

Yes, even though the third reaction never came to pass, and Anakin did that in AOTC, I STILL think it would have been cooler if Maul did that in TPM.

I can't remember having a reaction to it, actually. I do vaguely remembering wondering how he'd ever fight with a think like that, but I didn't think it was a terribly exciting concept.
