ST What will George say upon his first viewing of Episode VII?

Whatever Ian Malcolm said when he saw the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.

 

"Wait, you mean the acting can be GOOD in a Star Wars movie? I never thought of that."

Rick: I'm sorry they ruined your franchise so badly. I'm going to make some calls and give them a piece of my mind...

George: *wiping away tears* No, Rick don't. It's just ... so good I can't believe it. I mean, good acting, good dialogue. It's what I always dreamed it would be.

Rick: What are you saying? I'm a d@mned good producer! You're the one that %^#$'ed up the prequels, not me.

For the money George was paid, I'm sure George will say whatever Disney wants.

Kidding aside, I think it would be very interesting to have George contribute to the commentary on the DVD/BluRay of Episode 7. I'd love to get his honest insights about what was taken or changed from his old drafts, what he might have done differently, which shots he liked/disliked, what he felt about the progression of characters that he created, etc, etc. Of course, it would be next to impossible to get him to be entirely honest since if he really didn't like it, I suspect he'd be too professional to say so, but still, it would be fascinating.

 

Commentary from a creative consultant wouldn't involved him analyzing the thing saying what he 'liked' or 'didn't like'. "Oh JJ changed this, I had it like this: (something way more badass)"

That is kinda cool...I remember when robert plant cried during the tribute show when jason bonham and co played zep. I hope George has that same sense of wonderment and amazement we all do. If they get it right....he can feel better knowing the mythos is going to live a long time in a galaxy near us in a theatre.
