What will the last shot of Ep III be?

if that IS the last scene in EPIII it'll b the only SW movie i ever cried @

The Droids are the first characters we see in episode 4, it would make since if they are the last characters we see.

I still cry nearly every time I watch the ending to ROTJ:SE. Although III will be the final episode ever made, ROTJ is the final adventure that our beloved characters ever go through. The final shot of all of the characaters, standing together for a "group shot" really chokes me up.

Well I think that Anakin is gonna kill Padme.
The last shot, I think, will be like a shot of the imperial palace on Coruscant, with like a holographic shot of Obi-Wan walking into the desert after having jut delivered Luke to Owen.

 

I like Obi-wan walking off into the desert, but since Artoo and Threepio are in the endings of the other 5, then I'm certain they'll be included at the end of Episode III.

 

I don't see why everybody can't get their way. It could be a montage of scenes that shows the location and status of all the main characters (to a stirring JW theme):

1) Yoda looking up from his Dagobah hovel and shaking his head sadly; (wipe)

2) Leia shedding a tear as baby Leia, Bail, Jar Jar, handmaidens, R2 and 3PO look on; (wipe)

3) OB1 walking into the sunsets as Kleigg (sp?), a po'd Owen, Beru, and baby Luke watch; (wipe)

4) Vader joining the Emperor on the bridge of the Executor as TIE fighters zip this way and that, a la Darth_Tarpals' description; (fade out).

Very melancholy.

I would be immensely disappointed if that was all we got of Vader in Episode III. I think the audience deserves to see a younger, more spry Vader in action. It would be a bit of a cop-out if all his action under Palpy, helping to wipe-out the Jedi and all only happened between Ep III and IV.
And I sincerely hope Jar Jar is not in the final shot, unless it's some other creature munching on his body parts
Jar Jar must perish in Ep III. Hell, kill all the Gungangs. Maybe the Empire will test a prototype weapon and boil the Naboo waters on Global Swim Party Day, killing the entire species. That would be great. George would bring a smile to my face then.

Other: Palpatine and Vader in the middle of a celebration (just picture Stormtroopers boogeying down!), looking mean, with the ghosts of Dooku and Maul looking on (like the spirits of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin in ROTJ). Then spirit Maul and ghost Dooku get mad at each other and start a lightsaber duel; Vader and Palpatine just laugh. Oh, yeah...

 

definately the last shot will be obi-wan walking into the doulble sunset with the same song playing as when luke stares off into the sunset.

but im sure one of the next to last shots will be of vader. but we cant be sure its anakin. i mean, WE know its anakin, but there needs to be some doubt for those who are watching 1-6 in order.

I like the idea about parallels, but I don't think that the parallel will be with ROTJ, but with ANH, using the bookends in. Think of it, ROTJ we have a celebration over a victory, as we do in TPM. Moving in from the bookends, we see ESB and AOTC both ending with characters and droids looking at a star. so....

ANH we see an award ceremony for a victory, with an army standing in pomp precision. Perhaps for EPIII we are going to see Palpatine awarding *Lord* Vadar his title, or perhaps Palps and Vadar bestowing upon Tarkin the awards for his service? And of course, lines of Storm Troopers (the other million that will be ready soon) standing in attendance. That would really show the shift of power to see the rebels (with their puny army) having a similar ceremony in the very next movie.

 

Maybe a shot of Obi-Wan walking in the desert towards the setting suns of Tatooine?

Maybe a montage of planets under Imperial Oppression like the end of Jedi with celebrations?

I like everybodies ideas but many is too linear. Here is my idea:

(Yoda Theme Playing) -- Shows Yoda on Degabah (Or how ever the hell you spell it) and it shows him walking slowly then stops, and he looks up to the sky with a very serious look

(Plays Force Theme) -- Switches to Obi-Wan giving Leia to some Royal family on Alderran, then shows Obi-Wan and the family exhanging words but we can't here them. (Force Theme continues to play) Then quickly switches to Obi-Wan on Tattoine giving Luke to Lars and they exhange words.

(Imperal March them plays) -- Switches to the Emperor on some type of spaceship (doesn't exactly have to be a star destroyer). He is facing outside to the stars as the camera changes to show a view outside the ship as about 50 fighter ships that 80% resemble the TIE-Fighter surround the ship like they are escorting it somewhere. Then the camera goes back inside the ship as it shows the Emperor looking out the to the stars as we see Vader come along and stand right next beside him and then they both look at each other for about 20 seconds (The camera alternates between showing a Zoom in on Vader's face then the Emperors and keeps alternating for about 20 seconds as the Imperal March gets louder and louder and we hear Vader breathing). Then they both look out again at the stars in front of them as the camera now has a shot of them two from behind and slowly zooms out and then the picture fades and the credits start to roll.


That way the movie ends on an evil note that will in return make the title "A New Hope" actually mean something. Remember, this is going to be the darkest movie of all the SW films and by having the ending go the way I did makes it seem dark whether then having Obi-Wan walk off in the desert which isn't dark...but sad.

 

I voted for the Obi-Wan scene, but I could see it go either way with the Vader scene.

Obi-Wan deliver's baby Luke to the Lars while it's playing the song from ROTJ were Luke sets Vader's body on fire as he walks off into the sunset. Then the music changes to the Imperial March we come to the chamber in Esb you see the back of his head the helmet lowers then he walks to the bridge, but the camera is only focused on his shoulders on down. He comes to the main window were Palpatine is watching the early construction of the Death Star then you pan the camera around and we see Vader from the front they look at each other similar to Anakin and Obi-Wan in ROTJ, and Palpatine has an evil smile on his old face. Then a shot like the end of Esb were we see the Star Destroyer leaving with Tie Fighters flying around it will end the saga.

 

I voted for the Obi-wan ending...Just because it seems like the best connective for "A New Hope." As well, seeing Vader at the ending would just be so depressing . Seeing Obi-wan would be just bitter-sweet.
