What would get you so mad that you would walk out of Ep III?

I was chatting with friends the other day and we had discussed a time or two where we had walked out of the theatre went to the lobby and demanded our money back. (This is not a humor thread)

Several such jems are...
1) Ishtar (Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman)
2) Men At Work (Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez)
3) Any Steven Segal movie.

What would make you so mad that you would do such a thing to a Star Wars movie? (Again, This is not a humor thread)

You can only mention what could happen in Ep III. No other Star Wars movies.

I think the things that would set me off would be if....

1) Celine Dion were to do a song on the soundtrack.
2) Dooku is cut into peices and comes back to life.
3) If Jar Jar takes on a Sith and wins.
4) If we see Ewoks.
5) If we see a CGI Darth Vader.
6) If we see another musical number like in RTOJ.

Those are just a few things... what would it take to set you off?

 

1. Jar Jar has absolutely ANYTHING to do with the plot of Episode III
2. Hayden botches up Darth Vader
3. Any more previously unkown races are made key players; IE Kaminoans, Gungans, Geonosians
4. The Death Star is in Episode III

 

...absolutely nothing...

...my expectations arent sky high anymore...i am learning that these are not my movies and although id rather certain things to happen certains ways, i have no control over it...

...im not expecting episode three to be all that "exceptional"...

...the main reason i am going is to see anakin's turn, and yoda and obi wan's facial expressions when they are the only two left...

...nothing would make me miss the turn...12 01 thursday night...ill be there... to stay...

 

I find it profoundly disturbing that you would actually demand your money back after watching a movie that turned out to be garbage.

Steven Segal movies? You should know better than to pay to see those in the first place.

After all, it's not the movie theater's fault that the movie was crap, and there's no reason why you should expect them to reimburse you. Do you order eggs benedict at a restaraunt and then demand your money back because it has too much butter? You're not paying the theater for the movie, after all, you're paying them to show the movie to you. If you don't like the movie, stop funding the Hollywood crap machine and don't see movies the weekend they come out.

But that's an entirely different issue, and I apologize for tangentialing.

And no, there's nothing that Episode 3 could have that would make me regret having seen it.

Not even Jar-Jar living through the end.

 

I don't walk out of movies. And even if I did (out of distaste for the movie), I would never ask for my money back. If I don't like a movie, it's not the theatre's fault nor is it their responsibility to refund my money. I should've learned more about the film before paying to see it.


EDIT: I'm with Jeb on this one. If the theatre managed to get you to pay money to see Segal, then they've more than earned it.

 

Someone posted that they'd walk out if they saw the Death Star in EP3. Isn't it starting to be built at this time? Or maybe a prototype.

I sure wouldn't ask for my money back unless what happened to me the first time I went to see EP2 happened again. Some family brought their kids and the little girl was totally freaked out. The mother kept telling her to shut up. I was really ticked at the mother. I'm a mother and I'd never even think of bringing my little girl. That's what babysitters are for! Sorry, just had to vent there.

I don't think there is anything that coudl make me actually walk out. Something may leave me upset, but nothing could make me walk out.

It's the last Star Wars movie, I'm seeing it on opening day, and nothing is gonna stop me. (except being dead, or in the hospital)

 

No, jada, the DS won't be built for another dozen and a half years, at least.

 

The only thing that would upset me would be if there was no duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin.

 

I'll get really pissed off if there's a happy ending.

 

If Sidious isn't Palpatine. I'd consider leaving, then keep watching 'til the end.

Then I'd leave cursing.

I would leave for the following reasons:

1. If they make any of the EU crap a part of the movie (at least a major part). Don't get me wrong, I like most of the EU stuff, but don't mix it with the "real" stuff.

2. If Sidious IS Palpatine.

3. If Naboo doesn't get destroyed.

4. If Padme makes another trip TO Coruscant, and then BACK to Naboo. That one's getting old.

5. If Lucas submits to requests of cameos.

Of course I wouldn't walk out, but I wouldn't see it again nor would I buy the DVD.

 

Nothing could make me leave. I'd complain a lot maybe, or throw my drink at the screen, but not walk out.

I wouldn't walk out over anything. TPM and AOTC have prepared me to expect the worst. The only thing that would make me leave the theater would be if Episode III features Natalie Portman eating dog sh** for two hours. Then I'd be running out in search of a restroom!

If someone was being a real ass and totally disrupting the movie for me. No wait, I'd probably just chuck popcorn at them.

 

I doubt I would walk out if the movie was crap. I would finish watching, and remember all the resons not to buy it or rent it later. But, i would seriously dislike the movie if:

-Jar Jar has a bigger part than he did in AotC

-Dooku dies in the first 5 minutes

-Sidious doesn't fight

If Sidious fights I'll be very disapointed.

Anyway, there is nothing that would get me to walk out of the theatre. I paid $10 dag-nabbit, and I'm staying for the whole thing.

That and the fact that it's Star Wars.

 

Some of you people are going to be walking out,I can say that for sure.

 

No one that posts on this forum will walk out on a SW film. Anyone who says they will is all talk.
