I would walk out if Han dies if Luke is a cameo if there are superweapons again if there are TIEs, if Bobba Fett's offspring isn't in the movie, if Sidious isn't mentioned if there are no Big 3 together and some much more.:p

I have a vision, you will walk out of the cinema, but since the future is always in motion, I don't know exactly when. [face_laugh]

I really think the only thing that could precipitate a walk out for me would be if time travel was a main plot device, and it was used to reboot the franchise.

And honestly, I don't know that I'd walk out then. I would definitely B&M incessantly moving forward though.

I actually have a strong principle of never walking out of a film. You just never know if some small moment of great might happen in an otherwise horrible film.

I broke that principle only once, and that was for Oliver Stone's "Alexander." Just the worst. Though I would have stayed through to the end if I didn't have to be somewhere soon after.

Me too, I don't think I've ever walked out of a movie in a theater. Partially because I paid to be there. But also because at some point, if a movie proves itself to be bad enough, I feel like I have to stay just to be fully informed enough to be able to discuss later how terrible it truly was. :p

Haha! I have the exact same need to have all the information necessary to fully and completely tear a film apart.

That's why I went back and watched Alexander on DVD. :)

At that point, it ceases to be "entertainment" and becomes "research". :p

That's what I've always told my friends.

"I watch good films. I research bad ones."

I've never walked out on a movie. I remember going to see Pearl Harbor and the cinema was almost empty. When the intermission came, the few that were there left and never came back for the second half. Even the ushers couldn't be bothered coming in. It was just myself and a friend. So I went and sat in the corner and smoked a cigarette (I was a young and foolish teenager) and nobody came to tell me to stop or to kick me out.

I won't walk out on TFA though if the MSW's information is correct, I think I'll be incredibly disappointed, which saddens me.

I don't think there is anything that will get me to walk out. If Luke has a kid, I will be incredibly disappointed. But I will stick through the whole movie. I also hope that Luke doesn't die.

I don't know how I could get so mad at a Star Wars movie that I'd walk out.

I don't think I've ever walked out of a movie because it was so bad. The only time I've ever walked out on a movie was because my date was 2 seconds away from being physically ill and gave me a "We're leaving, right?" look.

That being said, I can't imagine walking out on a Star Wars movie, but if it turned out Boba Fett was still alive and was actually Jar Jar in disguise, that would seriously tempt me.
