ST What would get you so mad that you would walk out of Episode VII?

A reprise of "Yub Nub" at any point in the movie would also make me walk out.

 

How about a short snippet of Binary Sunset? Or something like that.

 

That's what I expect to happen.

 

Or they could just leave the intro completely quiet, building up the excitement before the opening crawl sequence. That would, in my opinion, be the best way to pull it off without upsetting anyone.

 

Good idea, given that we know that the ST is supposed to be darker and grittier, so if they left it completely silent and gradually crescendoed into a track a bit like one at the beginning of Ep3, that'd be pretty dramatic and awesome.

When the movie ushers force me out since I don't have tickets for the next showing... cause they're closing for the night and there is no next showing.

 

Just use a Jedi mind trick on them.

exactly. i think it would be amazing to have one droid destroyed and then in the next film they repair it's a.i. in a refurbished body. that way you could get away with a huge emotional gut punch.

It's obvious to me that the expectations would not be anymore intense if another gospel was added to the Bible. Personally, I'm sick of being disappointed in Star Wars and want to be proud of it again. I'm not going to be watching it looking for reasons to walk out.

 

While I won't walk out, if there is a "shoots first" in-joke Episode VII will likely be the first and last of Disney's Star Wars films I pay to see in a theater.

 

If the opening scene is of Lukes hand floating through space clutching his lightsaber.

 

This would prevent me from walking in. Because if it's the first scene, I will have to turn around and walk out. Meaning I will have spent $15 - $20 (depending on choice of theatre and how much they take us for in 2015) to watch one minute of title crawl.

 

If the New Republic is already the dominant galactic government when VII opens. There needs to be things remaining for the ST heroes to accomplish and we've already seen a Republic.

 

i like 3d as long as there are also theaters offering a regular viewing. i want the option.
