And more than a year later, I'm finally going to elaborate on my post...

Not only will I be very disappointed if any major character is done in CGI, but I will also be very disappointed if any minor character is done in CGI.

I will also be very disappointed if any of the backgrounds are done in CGI instead of matte paintings, and I will be very, very disappointed if any of the optical effects are done in CGI.

Hell, I'll disappointed if ANYTHING is done in CGI, PERIOD!!!!

(In case you can't tell, I don't like CGI... [face_frustrated])

Then you might as well stay home because there will be CGI in Indy 4. Wire removal, matte paitings, set extensions and a host of other "invisible" effects will be more then likely created with CGI.

ha! I'd actually agree with that. On my first viewing of Indiana Jones on the big screen, I'm just going to enjoy the film. After that there may be a time to get nit-picky. However, on this first viewing, I'm just enjoying it.

If Mutt turned bad and killed Indy before ripping his eyeballs out and riding away with aliens in a bicycle over the moon, I'd probably walk out... and ask for my money back at that.

If Kate Capshaw makes a cameo in the film reprising Willie Scott.

Nothing, but things that would make me iffy about seeing it would be:

Written and Directed by George Lucas

    PT CGI overload

    Indy recast

Kevin Smith having anything to do with the movie

Yet again, another Indy movie made in the same mold as Raiders.

Two and a half hours of Indy actually teaching his class for a change. :p

You have nothing to worry about. So far as I know, the movie isn't set in New Jersey.

    Two words: "Political Propaganda"

If this movie turns political, I'll be mad.

Can you imagine an Indy movie where Harrison acts more like Rambo?
Wouldn't it be terrible if Indy made some kind of statement
like "We must take care of this Commies now in their backyard before
this Communism disease spreads to our country!"

Or, how bout, "If these foreign menaces aren't stopped now, one day
they will be blowing up buildings on our own soil!"

This wouldn't happen of course, but if it did I might walk out.

"I will make a mad dash out of the theatre if Indy and one of his side kicks go "Brokeback." "

" ...If Indy comes out in red and gold sequence and sings "Anything Goes"."

ROFL!!!! [face_laugh][face_laugh] I would most definitely walk out if the first one happened! The second, however, I'd be curious to see! [face_thinking]

"If Indy has a nude scene."

Sorry if I'm the one responsible for this thread going corrupt after this post, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing that LOL!!! [face_laugh][face_love] I don't care if Harrison is old enough to be my grandfather, I still like him! ;)

I'd be pretty p.o'ed if they had a scene with him and Marion in front of a fireplace where he's proclaiming his love for her... :p

If Indy becomes an undercover operative for drug enforcement and falls into the temptation and the film is entitled...
    Indiana "Jonesin'" for Crystal Meth.

Yeah, its not very likely. Hopefully there will be some kind of anti-Iraq war statement snuck in "subtly" instead.

I wouldn't walk out for any reason really, but I might be disappointed with some stuff. To the guy who said that John Williams makes the films he scores better, that can be said about ANY reasonably talented composer, especially if you have an interest in film scores. I'm sure Williams' score for KotKS will be a delight, though.

If Indy's Chinese friend who died at the beginning of TOD came back as a Force ghost.

If the movie is three hours of Lucas, Spielberg and Forc cackling gleefully and counting their enormous piles of money.

If the movie "sucks", I will walk out.

    Yeah - what JediKnightOB1 said!

I very much doubt it will suck, though.

If Kate Capshaw's character from ToD is so much as mentioned, I'm tossing my popcorn at the screen and stomping out in a huff. :p

I was delighted to see that Marion was going to be in Indy 4, and not Willie Scott, the Scream Queen. I'm with you - I would definitely walk out in disgust if she was in the movie.

If Willie Scott (Cate Capshaw) is in the movie it's only because she is sleeping with the director.;)
