CT What would have happened to Anakin/ Darth Vader if he survived his final encounter with Palpatine?

    Maybe the main reason the Rebels were willing to accept him in RoTJ Infinities - was that the Emperor was still alive and they couldn't afford to throw away so powerful a Force-user when confronted with so great a threat.

    It's still shallow it implies they merely spare him to *use* him just as the OJO and the Sith did.

    It may be "shallow" - but that's the kind of thing that's likely to motivate the leaders of an organization dedicated to fighting the Empire.

    The Rebel Alliance may of had a hard time even keeping Vader alive. They possessed very little knowledge of how Vader's suit was built, maintained or operated. For example, they would have no idea that Vader needed a special meditation chamber or when he needed to use it. I'm sure there would be plenty of other such problems that the Alliance would simply not be aware of unless Vader told them.
