    Wasn't the rebellion against the empire before the corellian treaty completely independent groups? IIRC, it was only after the corellian treaty, set up by Bel IBlis, that the rebels forged a unified coalition. Hence where the name the rebel Alliance came from.

    I can't remember the Han Solo series because I don't own and merely read it once.

    Oh, according to lucas's droids cartoon there was some sort of rebel alliance before the main rebel alliance. But I'm not sure who was in control of it, most likely not affilliated with chandrilla, correllia, and alderaan.
