ok, lets keep it clean guys I know we could get a list a mile long with some very interesting entertainment... LOL... however,

This thread is to give everyone a chance to toss in a few ideas to what they would like to see improve about the awards. ITs your awards. Lets hear your ideas!

More short films? more entertainment?
Dinner again? etc... you guys get the idea ....

personally, I will say for entertainment.. we need more guys in kilts thats all Im saying

Soooooo.... Do we want to combine the dinner with the awards or just have awards ?
We just had awards the first year, secon year combined.....

what about this year?

Personally, if we combine the dinner with awards this year again I would prefer to have the awards gpoing on during dinner rather than waiting this time, it doesnt make for such a long evening .

Maybe starting to eat, then beginning the ceremoney while finishing eating.

Also moving along with door prizes quicker. That seemed to take a while to get through.

 

How about a continuous slide show of pictures while we eat? Hopefully all NE chapters will submit a handful of pics and get a chance to showcase events or their own silliness.

A silent replay of the previous year's awards?

 

I think we should have the door prizes during dinner to start the awards and then have the awards as you eat so we finish up just after dessert. Thats my goal. This way if we want to move downstairs into the er uh pub... for an after celebration we can

A slideshow of previous awards is nice. we can have that playing while people are waiting for the show to start

Keep in mind that will be limited to the amount of submissions I recieve.
If anyone wants to start submitting photos now go ahead I tuck them all away in a nice awards folder to use so no worries

Proposed new awards: best fan fic (I think that's been mentioned before but just in case...) and best "signatures." I like reading what people have in their sigs.

 

Any chance of expanding the scope of the R2-D2 Award (best chapter website) to include MySpace pages? I know a few of the chapters have them now as a recruiting tool, so IMO, these should be included (or maybe a separate award for chapter MySpaces?).
