What would you like to see on the Website?

I for one liked that drawing LadyDemoness was working on! I think that something like that should be on the front of our website. Be our logo or something.

Let's have the drawers out there make us a logo...Thumper, LadyDemoness,Sandy...anyone I'm not thinking of!

Is there a way that each person can contol their own bio? Have them log into their page and make adjustments without driving the webmaster nuts?

 

Why how many times you plan on changing yer bio? Besides all the other stuff maybe we can make up some kind of back story for our group- fictional back story of course.

We do have a couple of people who are going to design the websight, I think. However, if ANYONE would like to try your hand at designing a site, PLEASE PLEASE do so! We'll look at all the designs once they are finished and choose the best one!

We've been talking about this thing with not a lot of real progress. Let's make a goal. I'd like to have a site up by our "official" 3rd Meeting expected to be in Dec. Does that sound good with the guys who want to design something?

 

If our third meeting is going to be in Dec, does that mean that we will have two in Nov?

I know what you mean. The "We-Are-Official- Meeting" won't be until January.

The "We-Are-Official" meeting can be in Dec, so long as we have two meetings in Nov. We could have our 3 meetings 3 weekends in a row if that is what we wanted as long as we posted them in advance. As far as I know that is.

The most I can do for a website is build one and maybe hand draw the ideas for graphics. I dont have a graphic program and the ones that I do have are just sharewares.

I thought the official meetings were:

Meeting 1: 2 Nov 2002 - First Monthly meeting

Meeting 2: 8 Nov 2002 - Boat Trip

Meeting 3: Inauguration Party

We'll have at least three for each.



I like the logo. I have some serious reservations about using the shuttle as an icon for a SW fan group. It carries some legal and moral implications, but the design is outstanding. I can rationalize using it as a symbol of the area rather than a symbol of NASA.

Can we make a special one for Katie with the side panels taken off and lots of parts being swapped out?

Yeah. All meetings must be posted on the FanForce website to be official. And then we have to have three people there.

Sandy's got the same impression I had for the meetings.

So I missed the un-official meeting- thats okay- I guess. Did I miss anything- or wasn't held in the Star Chamber?

The smoke kinda looks like a big pile of popcorn, but that's probably becaue of compression in the teeny image.

I, too, kinda have reservations about using the Shuttle, though.

 

Then what about swapping out the Shuttle with a nondenominational, Buck-Rogers-esque rocket? Y'know, the ones with the pointy noses and tail fins.

 

I was thinking of sticking a TIE Solar Panel (TIE/In or TIE/I) on the left side over the Rebel emblem and an X-wing S-Foil on the right side of the shuttle over the Imperial emblem for wings. And maybe perhaps stick the Falcon's Comm Dish near the nose of the shuttle (though that might be a bit too much)?

Or I could add something to the background such as an Imperial Star Destroyer and a Mon Cal Cruiser over the opposite emblems?


The exhaust might look like popcorn because I had to copy and past to make more exhaust, I couldn't find a good picture of a shuttle launch.


As for the site itself, would mimicking TFN be too much? Or perhaps use the X-wing vs TIE Fighter window datapad thingy?
