what would you rather see star wars e III or lord of the rings the return of the king?

    At the moment I would like to see ROTK more as it is so close to coming out. However I'm sure I will be feeling the same way about Episode 3 in late 2004-early 2005.

    Ep 3 without a doubt since I already know the ending to ROTK,but knowing PJ he'll probably(if he hasn't already)drastically alter the ending,so even tolkien purist like myself,will be surprised by the outcome.

    EP III. It is tough though. ROTK come sout first so that is on my mine right. Like above, that will change in 2005. I am usually focused on whatever moving is currently going to be released. I just watched X-Man over the weekend and I am looking forawrd to X2. But if I had to make a choice, like they were both released on the same day, hands down EP III!

    Ep3. As others have said, I can sit down and read the LOTR book(s) whenever I want and get the story as its creator intended. I just haven't been able to get into the LOTR movies for that reason (same for Harry Potter). I know that story already. The only way to really get the story of Ep3 is to view it on the big screen. The way its creator intended it to be told.

    Ep3 for sure.You already know what will happen if you read ir, and iam generally a much bigger SW fan than LOTR.

    E-III of course, i've already read ROTK. Even if I hadn't read it I still would rather see Episode III.
