Whats everyones favorite scene in ESB?

How can you possibly resrict this to just one moment?


Why not? Everyone has a favorite something. Do they just say I have a favorite everything?

 

One notable scene is when Han and Luke part ways on Hoth. What an awesome, subtle scene between two friends!

Han quickly trying to get off of Hoth and Leia adding her 2cent and Han causing those SDs to almost HIT each other. Good stuff right there.

 

Hands down, the best moment in Star Wars:

The Battle Of Hoth.

 

Easy - every scene that has Boba Fett in it.

 

Asteroid chase, definitely. From the moment they lift off Hoth till they land at Cloud City, that entire sequence is just packed. Great music, intense pacing, great humor, etc, and some of the best Star Wars quotes as well.

 

1) Crazy Yoda, particularly when he begins to eat Luke's food, that cracks me up.

2) Yoda lifting the X-Wing out of the pond. The music made that scene.

3) Chewie, 3PO, Leia, and Lando escaping Cloud City in the sunset. Nice scene.

4) Ice Cream Maker Guy

 

Leia: Ocassionally...maybe. When you're not acting like a scoundrel.
Han:A scoundrel? I like the sound of that. You need more scoundrels in your life.
Leia:I happen to like nice men.
Han: I'm a nice man.
Leia: No, you're not, your're...

Yoda: How you get so big eating food of this kind?
Yoda: Patience! For the jedi it is time to eat as well!

I agree with Luke and Han's goodbye on Hoth.

Obi-Wan: That boy was our last hope.
Yoda: No, there is another.

Crazy Yoda! I laughed so much when I saw Artoo and Yoda going head to head over the little torch.

Yoda: Mine! Or I will help you not!

 

Id have to say the battle scene between Vader and Luke, I really like the very beginning of it when vader appears behind the lights...

my favorite scene starts when you see 'Lucasfilm LTD' and ends when The Imperial March ends during the credits.

 

I still like crazy Yoda.....

 

When you mean Crazy Yoda what do you mean exactly?

 

When Han is out lookin for Luke outside, on Hoth. They have to close the doors to the base cause it's so cold. C3P0 is tellin Leia the odds of them surviving out in the cold. The doors close, Chewbacca howls, and the camera slowly zooms in on Leia's face.

I'll never ever forget the look on her face....

 

You know, "MINE! MINE! MINE!" and the banging of the stick against the droid......?

 

Luke: I don't believe it
Yoda: That is why you fail

It doesn't get better than that.

 

Oh that part.

 

I adore this film. Here are a few of my standout moments:

*When Luke has landed on Cloud City and is running around trying to figure out just what in the heck is going on.

*"Leia! Hear me."

*"The Force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet."

*"That's it. The Rebels are there." You just know Vader's made up his mind, no matter what the officers tell him.

*The scene on Dagobah, where Ben appears and talks with Luke and Yoda; they try to keep Luke from leaving. Good stuff!

*"No, there is another..."

*Lando:"He doesn't want you at all! He's after someone called, er, Skywalker." The look on Han's face is great here.

*Carbon Freezing scene-all of it.

This really was the best film of the saga thus far, IMO.

 

The ION Cannon with a very high volume does it for me.

 

Whys that?

 

Easily the carbon freezing scene the most tense moment in the whole saga for me

 

Fav. scene: Luke contacting Leia through the force, always gives me the chills.

But after Sept.21, I'm pretty sure it'll be the emperor scene.
