    I nominate a title: "Night In Night, Night In Day"

    (If someone wonders where does this come from, it's from one Slovak fairy tale - a girl is locked up in a room by her evil stepmother and ordered to spin a golden thread out of normal yarn. She's helpless and sighs to herself: "There's night in night, and night in day, somebody please come to help me!" (loose translation) Then a magical dwarf comes and teaches her how to do it.)

    I've written something, but it's not very good -- definitely needs a lot of work before it can be released to the public. I am, for once, actually contemplating getting a beta, just because I'm really not sure that it works -- facts, structure, style, voice, meshing with Star Wars, etc.

    In any case, it's not pinned down to any particular era, as of yet. I was thinking I either Before or Beyond would be good, but this actually might be a reasonable Intertrilogy type thing, where the Empire is still dominant . . . but you didn't need to know that. ;)

    In any case, I also have two other plot bunnies for this title, so with any luck I'll post at least one response to the challenge. :)

    Finally almost has a response to the first title...

    This could take awhile. But I have ideas for the other two titles... hmm.

    EDIT: And, strangely, they all involve an as-yet unintroduced OC from my AU universe. Weird.
